"It's a good story actually..." The Public Brewery - Dale White

This one is a beauty! I had a great chat this week with Dale White from The Public Brewery and Bekendales, among other venues (he's an enterprising fella), and he really gives life to this episode.  In this one, we talk about Dale's history in Maroondah, how the business is doing in lockdown, and what he loves about our great city. I hope you enjoy it.

    Mad Ram Café: Mark Anderson

In this first proper interview episode, Mike Stevens chats with Mark Anderson, one of the owners and operators at Mad Ram Café in Croydon. How are things going during lockdown, and how did Mark get his start in the area? Listen on, and follow the team at facebook.com/madramcafe. Making Maroondah: What is it?

Welcome to Making Maroondah, a show about the people making Maroondah great – particularly in these wild months of 2020 when we're all stuck at home. In this episode, Mike introduces himself. If you're listening to this one, you should also know there's also at least one interview episode ready to go, so hit facebook.com/makingmaroondah to listen!

    Snap Fitness: Damian Vanterpool

This week I’m talking with Damian Vanterpool, manager of Snap Fitness in Croydon. We talked about how Damian found his way to Australia and what led to him settling in Croydon – no surprise, at least for those who know him, that his passion for fitness and people played a big part in his journey. Lastly, please give us a follow on Facebook and Instagram!
