Never Have I Ever S1 E9 & E10 Recap & AfterShow: Team Ben vs. Team Paxton

While Devi is still reeling from last night’s events, Kamala is preparing to meet Prishant for the first time. Nilani is on her toes as her brother Arvin comes to visit as well. When Steve crashes the party, things go awry, but thankfully this doesn’t ruin things for Kamala and Prishant. After Nilani roasts Paxton to high-heaven, Devi says some things she doesn’t mean and that leads us into the finale. Paxton starts to brush off Devi and she moves in with Ben during the aftermath of her fight with her mother. Nilani tries to win Devi over by saying she’ll be spreading Mohan’s ashes and Devi’s friends come back to convince her not to miss this important life event. In the end, all is resolved and we get a kiss from Devi and Ben! Never Have I Ever S1 E7 & E8 Recap & AfterShow: Rollercoaster of Love

On episodes 7 and 8 of Never Have I Ever, we’re taken on many rollercoasters of emotions. First off, we get on the roller coaster of Eleanor’s mom Joyce, who’s kind of a flake and basically exposes Eleanor and Devi. We’re then treated to a rollercoaster of positive emotions when Fab finally comes out to her mom. Also, Devi gets reprimanded by Nilani and Joyce leaves Eleanor yet again for the brights lights of broadway. Devi is then faced with a difficult decision between her friends and Paxton, and in Devi fashion, she chooses Paxton. Turns out Paxton’s “emergency” was just a photoshoot for his sister and since Devi never showed up for Eleanor, their friendship starts to fall apart. Meanwhile, it’s Ben’s birthday and he throws a huge party at his parents request. At this party, we really get on a wild rollercoaster with Fab being outed, Devi falling into a pool, and Paxton coming to save the day. In the end, Paxton drops Devi home before her curfew, but not before giving her a goodnight kiss. Never Have I Ever S1 E5 & E6 Recap & AfterShow: Model U-Ben

In episodes 5 and 6 of Never Have I Ever, we see a Model UN showdown of epic proportions. Devi violates the terms of her contract with Ben and joins him for an overnight Model UN trip and things get heated. After coming to a sort-of truce over some wild teen party shenanigans, Ben and Devi are back at odds when Ben spills the beans about Paxton and Devi. Then, reeling from the Model UN scenario, we take a deeper dive into Ben’s life. We see his relationship with his absent parents and how he gets catfished on Reddit. Also, Ben’s big zit forces him to visit Nilani and she winds up inviting him over for dinner after he ugly cries on her dermatology chair. After a fun dinner, Ben and Devi realize that they might not be rivals after all. Never Have I Ever S1 E3 & E4 Recap & AfterShow: Coyotes and Loaded Tots & There's No Place Like Princeton

Ep 3 The episode opens with an epic TikTok style music video starring the dynamic trio, which obviously got broken up by Devi's mom. Dreams come true when Paxton asks Devi to be in his group for a class project. Turns out it's because he knows she'll get them a good grade, but she'll take what she can get. She sees a coyote in her yard and decides that it's her father coming to check on her. Fast forward to Paxton's friend's house party, when she decides to get up close and personal then it attacks her. Paxton rushes her to the hospital and makes their friendship public with an Instagram post. Kamala binged a lot of Riverdale and decided to give Steve a chance. She lured him back in with their favorite order from the Cheesecake Factory, loaded tots. We end with Fabiola speaking through a robot saying she's gay. Ep 4 It's time for Ganesh Puja that's being held at Devi's high school. She's dreading going and when she arrives, she's doing what she can to not have fun. Meanwhile, her mom is trudging through a lot of shade with the other moms. Kamala found someone to confide in about arranged marriage and seems to be rethinking her decisions. Devi finally got FaceTime with Ron, who supposedly can help her get into Princeton. Unfortunately, she screamed at him because he was insisting that she uses her father's death story as her way in, so there goes that! Devi runs into Paxton in the hallway as she's kicking the lockers. He told her she looked good in her outfit, and that's all she needed to get through the day. Never Have I Ever S1 E1 & E2 Recap & AfterShow: The Hot Pocket is Not Just A Snack, it's A Whole Buffet

Episode 1 We're first introduced to Devi and her family. Sadly, she lost her father during a band concert and she has yet to grieve the traumatizing experience. After losing feeling in her legs for three months, she's back at school for sophomore year and is determined to rebrand with her best friends, Fabiola and Eleanor. She decides that they all need boyfriends to up their cred. We meet her therapist, Dr. Ryan (Niecy Nash), who tells her perhaps it's a better idea to do something she can control instead of forcing a boyfriend. So, she does the obvious, and asks the hottest guy in school, Paxton, to have sex with her. He casually agrees and we're off to the races for the rest of the season! Episode 2 The girls are doing exactly what they decided to do. Eleanor has a boyfriend and Fabiola is going on a date. Devi decides to embellish to her friends about Paxton, telling them he's the one that went after her. Kamala is going through something a bit different, she's getting ready for a call with the parents of her potential arranged marriage. We also get a sneak peak of Fabiola eying a female student. We were blessed with meeting the hot pocket, the group of very attractive, diverse young men at their school.
