As a family advocate with LOPA, Sara works directly with families experiencing loss to help inform them about options for organ, tissue and eye donation.  At the core of her work, Sara believes that everyone experiences grief in a different way, and it is ultimately up to her to make sure that families in crisis are seen, heard and valued. We at the Joy in the Journey podcast are truly blessed to have Sara on the program as we talk about the social worker’s role in the organ donation setting, grief and mental health.
