    65: You Do You, Boo!

    Today I'm sharing my thoughts on the constant barrage of people taking shots at the way women move through midlife when it comes to our health. The constant blame, shame, and criticism of the way other women choose to manage midlife is annoying! You do you, boo!  I'm over it and I want to encourage you to do what is right for you, to ask questions, to try different things if you want, to seek guidance, and to listen to your intuition. Not one body is the same, so not every body will react similarly to the same "treatment" or "program". Blaming and shaming people for making a choice that 'you' don't agree with is ridiculous and has no place in living life to the fullest. Strong women change rooms.     59: What You May or May NOT Know About GLP-1

    Today I want to talk about GLP-1 and the things you may not be aware of with regard to these medications. I recorded this episode last Fall, but wasn’t ready to release it until now as there is so much judgement about the use of these. I find that abhorrent and frustrating- who is anyone to judge another woman’s path?! Anyway, this is not advice or an attempt to convince you of anything. I am not a medical professional, doctor, or anything- this is just my personal research and what has happened for me. I talk about other benefits that are being seen from utilizing a GLP-1 other than weight loss as well. There is so much chatter online about the “right” way to do this or that. Perimenopause is an insane trip. Every day is different and there are many ways to navigate the crazy.  Using a GLP-1 is a tool- that’s it. Everyone’s health journey involves the use of tools- nutrition, exercise, supplements, mindset, medications, coaches, etc. We all have a toolbox and mine will not be the same as yours and vice versa.
