Special Guest Episode: Juh Vibe Twin

Yall know we’re all just cousins vibing and having conversations BUT this episode is special because I have my best friend LEILAH THE ARTIST (Instagram is Leilah.the.artist). Not only is this episode a peek into our daily stream of shared consciousness but it’s extra extra special because it’s the week of Leilah’s birthday and we have been able to have time to just be with each other and have conversations about life. Now you may notice this podcast starts in the middle of our conversation and cuts off a bit. Technical Difficulties my guy. Listen I’m just a girl with a mic and a dream. So if you can be patient with me I can keep growing and hopefully the next time Lil Lei graces us with her presence on our podcast we will have full audio and a proper introduction! Now yall go listen and tell me what you think. Do you still deal with hyperactivity as an adult? For all my October babies, what’s it like being the most mysterious open book your friends have ever experienced? Talk to me, don’t talk without me. And Rest In Peace Nolan Wells, it ain’t right but that’s because it’s all white.

Walk With Me: Difficult Conversations Can Lead to Delightful Outcomes

Difficult conversations, everybody has them and almost everybody gets anxious at the thought of them. Yet, those conversations are the stepping stone to being understood within your full totality. Sometimes you have to cry and talk until your throat is sore so that the people you love understand you better. Never over explain but sometimes people need more than they can readily gather from observation.

Imma Say F**k Cancer Thrice Since That Mf Just Came For My Mama Twice

We’re talking cancer but from the point of view of a family member. Cancer is a wicked mf and I don’t know if I’ve met anyone meaner. Other than my mom and she’s whooping the mess out of that cancers ass. It’s hard to know what to feel and how to feel when you’re not the one fighting the disease. It’s a special guilt and sadness that comes for the person who is there to witness everything but doesn’t know how to be sad because you’re healthy and get to continue life. Cancer is probably the weirdest thing this life has brought forward. So to deal with it three times in one life is beyond logic to me.

I’m Not Doing The Cussing&Yelling, So Imma Cuss You Out Quietly

I talked about the past, present, and future. I talked about overcoming emotional blocks and even carrying the weight of other people’s perspectives. We go into how false truths can become real if we believe in them enough. Now we recorded this episode on da road so you even got to hear what the inside of a road trip sounds like with me lol.

I’m Overly Easy About My People, Sunny Side Up

For real, I was sitting on the toilet talking and really processing the events of the day before and how life looks so different than when I first began putting my walls up and wearing my armor. When I was younger I always just wanted a space to be me, fully, and not be judged or called dramatic. As a young woman with an emotionally unavailable mother it was hard for me to have that space. But the people I have in my life now…they just don’t too much play about me. They really allow me to just be. I can cry and get emotional and they stay and make sure I am good through it and after. I ain’t never had nothing like that before. It was a journey to get here and I’m learning how to feel safe in what I have always wanted.

    After Hours ep. 1

In this segment of the podcast I am creating a space for when you come back home from a night out and you just want to recap the night and everything it made you feel. The little moments that you carried home. The big moments that remind you why you like to socialize. The thoughts that you wanted to leave home that followed you to the club. All that to say, this is After Hours baby. 🤫
