    SPERM LEAKAGE after sex (Èdà) - Normal or abnormal?

    To couples that are trying to conceive (TTC), sperm leakage is a very big deal as it is seen as a significant contributor to the rarity of pregnancy! This is partly because of what is handed down from older generations in this part of the world. Èda must be treated if you want get pregnant, worst still, the woman is glued to the bed after sexual intercourse with her husband to 'increase' her chances. Are these endeavors necessary?     CHAPERONING - The Truth and the Lies!

    Doctors are cool😎 people☺️. They're compassionate, considerate and sensitive☺️ too... but... Medicine is one profession that puts the patient at the mercy of the doctors and doctors at the mercy of the patient and so both parties need quality protection! This episode was as a result of two similar calls I received in the last few months about patients thinking they might have been violated by their doctors! This episode equips you with all the information you need to understand 'why' the doctor does 'what' and so helps you to be more cooperative, as well as, alert to improper practices.     Why should I be REFERRED to another hospital? - The Truth and the Lies

    REFERRAL! I have lost count of how many times patients, and sometimes, their relatives, beg not to be referred - they perceive that the ONLY reason for the referral is because the patient's condition has worsened. As much as I hate to admit this perception MAY be true SOMETIMES, it is not ALWAYS the case! Referral is a delicate balance between what a hospital is capable of doing (in terms of workforce, available skills and facilities) and the medical need of each patient. Once there's a disparity... an action must be taken😊! And Yes, in this episode, I had to touch on FIRST AID. Everyone seems to want to talk about first aid when someone presents to the hospital in an emergency situation. WHAT EXACTLY IS THE MEANING OF FIRST AID? What exactly is wrong with referring a patient without giving this FIRST AID? What are the other reasons we refer patients apart from worsening clinical condition?     THIS THING CALLED MENOPAUSE🙄🤔😬!

    It is not news that menopause marks the end of menstruation, but, it's also amazing to realise that people think that's all that is to it. NO, THERE IS MORE! And the 'more' is actually what makes menopause peculiar. This peculiarity demands preparedness and readiness for this phase in the life of every female. Question is, how do we prepare or get ready if we don't even know. A medical outreach I attended some weeks ago further opened my eyes to the need for health education on MENOPAUSE and that, is exactly what this episode is about. I hope you like it☺️.
