I experience this multiple times a day! I meet someone and introduce myself as a Real Estate professional. The usual response I get back is "I've always wanted to do real estate". Then, they proceed to tell me about a "deal" that "looks good". Fast forward, a year later when I meet that same person again and ask if they bought that "deal", the answer is almost always - "no I didn't". This is followed with a host of excuses.
