I found this fun little podcast searching for the origin of a piece of Phantom Stallion fanart Terri Farley posted about on Bluesky. A few weeks later and partway through the episodes (I’m a slow listener), this is… probably one of my favorite podcasts of all time? For years I’ve wondered when some brave author would finally put out a queer horsey YA novel - though I’m now past the genre’s target age. That doesn’t seem to have happened yet, at least not with great success, but turns out funny queer readings of YA/middle grade horsey novels are the next best thing.
Just great stuff. Once I get through all the episodes, I plan on recommending the podcast to the queer horsey discord server I’m a member of. Know that if you ever wanted to start the podcast back up again, you’d have listeners!
