My new favorite podcast. It inspired me to pay more attention to the art that’s all around me and to appreciate the effort from so many people that goes into making it for our appreciation. Now when I’m taking a walk around my city, I’m encouraged to look up.

I’m not a visual artist, but I found it easy to get into these conversations. Not only am I learning about public art and the processes of how art ends up in shows/galleries/outside, but I’m enjoying getting to know these artists’ habits, rituals, and personalities as well. It’s a great mix for artists and art appreciators.
Public art matters!

I love the surprise of spotting a beautiful mural while walking through a city. I’ve always wondered how they got there. This podcast shares those behind-the-scenes details & allows artists to share their own creative journeys. I also really enjoy the practical questions Stephanie asks artists like ‘how do you make money?’ & ‘how do you plan projects?’ The answers are fascinating and helpful for every creative person!

I wrote my Master’s dissertation on public art so it’s validating and fascinating to get behind the wall so to speak through this podcast.
