Let’s examine the life of a woman during the Roaring Twenties through the major plot points of a century classic, the Great Gatsby. Through our feminist lens, we must embark on this imperative journey to truly understand how the life of a woman is filled with much internal grief in a society where patriarchy domineers in the face of themes involving unrequited love, tragedy, and betrayal.
