Introbiz Swansea and West Wales interview with Bernie Davies and Angela Asante-Armar

Angela Asante-Armar is a woman with purpose and a number of strings to her bow. Although born and raised in London, England to Ghanaian parents, Angela has recently relocated to Ghana with her family. Her mission is to empower, unite and restore the condition, image and role of mothers and mother-figures (all women) in Ghana, so that once the women thrive physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, the rest of the nation and the Motherland Africa will in turn thrive. She seeks to achieve this by contesting to become President of Ghana and encouraging more women to take up political leadership positions in the process, partly through her weekly programme, the Women in Political Leadership Series. As President of Ghana, she will use her maternal qualities and strengths to introduce structures, systems and policies which will prioritise the majority of the population (women and girls) by meeting their basic needs of accommodation, food, healthcare and education. This will automatically yield benefits for the country as a whole by greatly increasing the productivity of women, boosting the economy, and this is the key to true Independence for all Ghanaian citizens. Apart from being Mother to her two precious sons, Angela is a UK Employment Lawyer, Intuitive Life and Career Coach, a Career Mentor to undergraduate law students at the University of Reading and a founding member of Power to our Mothers Foundation Africa, a non-profit organisation working to empower Mothers and Mother-figures (women) on multiple levels. As Ambassador to the Global Pan-Africanism Network, Angela has hosted and organized events and conferences, as well as engaged in discussions bringing together people of African descent to contribute to the vision to create a United States of Africa.

Introbiz Swansea and West Wales Interview with Bernie Davies and Colin Maclachlan

Colin has more than 25 years of security and risk-related experience. Colin starred in Channel 4’s SAS: Who Dares Wins and Channel 5’s Secrets of the SAS. Colin joined the Royal Scots in 1989, and after nine years, he passed SAS selection first time. SAS MISSIONS: Colin’s Special Forces team were involved in some of the most daring and high profile SAS missions in the past two decades. Not many people have taken part in hostage negotiations, hostage rescue and been a hostage themselves – Colin is one of them! On one mission, he waded through swamps in Sierra Leone hunting down the ‘West Side Boys’, a guerrilla gang holding 11 British soldiers hostage. It was a mission so dangerous they nicknamed it ‘Operation Certain Death’ – it’s official name was Operation Barras. The SAS teams secured the hostages’ building and neutralised any West Side Boys. Furthermore, Maclachlan was the first sniper on the scene when a hijacked flight with 180 passengers landed at Stansted. Sparking a four-day stand-off, it was the most prolonged standing hostage siege in the UK. Four years later, Colin was on the other side of a rescue mission when he was taken hostage in Basra. Blindfolded, battered and stripped naked, he had a gun pressed to his head and the trigger pulled, as his captors held mock executions. The only reason Colin survived long enough for British troops to rescue him was due to the terrorists wanting to film his suffering in a propaganda video before his planned execution. Colin left the SAS shortly after completing an exchange programme with Delta Force and Seal Team 6. He has since provided security consultancy for the Saudi Royal Family, Celebrities and U.S Media Networks. Furthermore, Colin has a First Class MA (Hons.) in History from Edinburgh University and also an M.Litt in Terrorism from St. Andrews University. Colin is also a brilliant Motivational  and Key Note Speaker. We at Introbiz Swansea and West Wales are offering some of our online workshops and Networking Events Free to all attendees.
