    16 Parchi Dhap: Kabuliwala(কাবুলিওয়ালা) ft. Ananya Moitra & Anindita Dey

    Kabuliwala by Rabindranath Tagore is that one story that we all love from our childhood. Our college friend, Ananya Moitra, presents this iconic tale with the Bengali flavor in which she was herself narrated the story by her grandmother. This one surely will take you back to your school days bringing a similar reaction that you first had on reading this one. And for those of you who haven't heard/read it, you are in for an emotionally beautiful journey!     16 Parchi Dhap: Neypayasam(നെയ്പ്പായസം) ft. Shersha Sherief, Advait & Arun Shivdas

    Joining us from Kerala, Shersha Sherief, narrates to us a story very dear to his childhood. Neypayasam is a traditional sweet dish of Kerala made of jaggery, butter, rice, raisins,  cashews etc. This story presents an unfiltered account of a family dealing with grief and the consequent thoughts that linger on and in the midst of it all Neypayasam plays an integral role.     16 Parchi Dhap: Yogayog(योगायोग) ft. Vismay Raje, Manohar Hosmani & Mansi Deshpande

    Bringing a Marathi tale to our series, Vismay Raje shares his favorite childhood story, Yogayog, with us. Yogayog means coincidence in Marathi which is reflected in the events that unravel during the course of the story. It also teaches kids various concepts such as homonyms through hilarious misunderstandings which if you had heard as a kid, we are sure you would've never forgotten. It's not too late if you still want to learn homonyms in an interesting way.     Joining us from Assam, Prerna Das shares with us a childhood folk tale that she still often goes back to and finds absolutely hilarious.  Lotkon is Assamese means a cunning and manipulative person. Part of the collection of oral stories from a book called Grandmother's tales, Lotkon, dabbles in wordplay to teach kids an important moral lesson in life.     In this episode, our host, Vj, picks her beloved school textbook story that manages to somehow reveal a lot of her interests in real life.
