    DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK

    Ohhh baby...the boys are BACK! Drew and Greg hold down the fort as Johnny Hockey is still figuring our the Mexican penal system. (0:59-3:48). The fellas then dive into the so-so Cardinals and what they think this season can hold based off this small sample size. Ohhh...and with Carpenter out the Cards did not hesitate to replace him with Greg's newest hated member of the team (DeJong...needs to be DeGONE!). (4:00-16:40). Now to the real deal...PLAYOFF HOCKEY! Without our trusty, hockey correspondent still down south on the other side of the border - the other guys hold court on what to expect going forward with this Wild series and just tossing it out there...Greg makes a pretty good prediction for Game 5...JUST SAYIN! (16:40-31:24).  As always...thanks for subscribing to H&H...we couldn't do this without our loyal, psychotic fanbase. Don't know what we would do without you!     TIJUANA TAXI

    BUENOS DIAS POD FAMILIA! Another week in the books and another week of no Johnny Hockey - he's believed to have taken up the love of cabbing people around in Tijuana. Rumor has it he'll be in the studio next week.  No fear tho - Drew 'n Greg held it down this week to talk everything from Cardinals baseball, a dash of Blues & whatever else was on their minds this week. Oh and how could we forget about our favorite segment and for this week it was our favorite #36s in sports history, since this is our 36th episode! Enjoy....and always remember to keep it classy.

    DA PLANE, DA PLANE: tiny effort BY THE BIRDS

    HEAR YE, HEAR YE! The sports that we only care about every 4 years has commenced. The Olympics for those of you that are unfamiliar. USA leads all nations in the medal count and are just shy of leading in the gold medal count as well. USA! USA! On to more important things...the Birds on the bat. Harrison "Boy Band Hot" Bader is EN FUEGO. Batting .293 after yesterday...Mr. Bader is on a tear. You know what's not hot? The Cardinals bullpen. Gant looked more lost than an Amish person in downtown Manhattan. Our rotation can only hold on for so long. Mr. Bowtie needs to make some moves before the Friday trade deadline. What else is it going to take for Mo not to give up assets and make a splash?! That man needs to be on the hot seat. ALSO...fingers crossed that Nolan Arenado is healthy after leaving the game yesterday after a HBP. Our thoughts and prayers are being sent to you, Nolan...may your arm be healthy and blessed. (10:15-30:21) Speaking of trades/acquisitions...bye-bye Schwartzy! Sad to see the legendary Blue go, but best of luck in Seattle and you'll always have a special place in STL's heart. Now on to the important stuff that the Blues & Army can do. We just signed Pavel Buchnevich to a 4yr 23.5M deal - what a sign! Is Army going to make any more splashes? What's going on with Tarasenko? It's going to be an exciting couple of weeks! I think Army is going to make a major move...can you say, CANNONBALL?! (30:22-43:29) Then to wrap the show the fellas discuss their favorite #35's in sports history and then have a surprise segment to top off the show.  As always...keep it classy and keep it light podcast familia...unless you're pouring some tequila.     DOCTOR'S ORDERS: GET YOURSELF A HEALTHY DOSE OF CAMPBELL'S SOUP

    Shabbat shalom podcast mafia. What a treat do we have in store for you today. With the absence of Johnny Hockey this week - Drew 'n Greg have been blessed with the presence of Mr. Lettuce himself, Cam Stefak. A living legend in his own right - Cam brought his talents back from Spain to join another threesome here in the states.  Birds with a .350 win % in the month of June...JUNE GLOOM. A little pep in our step to start off July going 6-4 in our last 10 games. THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Ovied...NO...what a blunder of a game on Tuesday night - blowing a 6-1 lead in the top of the 9th to ruin Oviedo's first chance at at his 1st career win. No need to fear...the Birds gutted out two gritty wins Wednesday and Thursday to defeat the Cubs 3-4 in the series. Chefboyerdee would like to attribute that little bump to his appearance at the game on Monday ("You're welcome everybody"). But seriously...with this lack of depth in the rotation and overused bullpen - do the Cards realistically stand a chance to make it to the top of the NL Central? Because the NL Wildcard seems like an even bigger stretch. Is Mr. Bowtie the issue? Who knows...hopefully Mr. Arenado knows what he was talking about during the All-Star game. We are all in for it...TIME TO BRING THE HEAT. (4:00-19:40) Someone call Owen Wilson & Vince Vaughn as mediators for Tarasenko and Doug Armstrong in this divorce...aycaramba...best bring your bibs 'cause this one could get messy. Not only do we have that on our hands, but we lost our boy Vince Dunn to the Kraken in the expansion draft. Cam "Air Hockey" Stefak gives his take on what that loss of Dunn does for the boys in blue (he's not, not happy) and what our future holds going into the draft and free agency. Could Army have a little trick up his sleeve to pull off a big acquisition?? Matthew Tkackuk? Gabriel Landeskog? All we know is that Dougie will do his best to make the St. Louis Blues the best team possible. BUT what we have to come to terms with is that if Tarasenko does not leave this year that Blues nation needs to come to terms that this year might be a setback year. Keep your fingers crossed and hope that Vlady is sent to Siberia. (20:01-34:34) To wrap up the show the gents discuss their favorite, famous mug shots and then top it off with the fan favorite segment: "Favorite #34 in sports history" - there's only one right now and that is THE GREEK FREAK! (39:36-54:42) As always...keep it sleazy podcast familia and don't do anything we wouldn't do.     WHAT'S IN THE BOX?!

    WELCOME BACK PODCAST FAM! Is it emergency time for the birds? What in god's name do we have to do to get these boys buzzin again? Listen in to see what the three amigos have to see about our birds on the bat. Is it time to quit on DeWitt? (1:40-23:31).  In better news...Tarasenko is leaving Saint Louis...Johnny Hockey fills us in with predictions of the expansion draft, what the boys in blue need to do in the offseason and what our thoughts our about the future. Ohhh and how could I forget about P(h)atrick Maroon? STL BABY! (23:32-36:40) Then the fellas talk favorite SERIAL KILLERS and their #33's in sports and we'll see you in a couple days!

    CARDS SEASON IN ONE WORD: TUBTHUMP'D

    Good Morning, podcast mafia. Nothing better than the 3 amigos blessing your ears in the AM on a hot 'n humid Saturday, eyy? Well, it's time to bask in your hangover on this scorcher of a day and just let us get you to the high that you need. Listen up.  Wow...a historic 6-game skid (hasn't happened since 2016) has put our Red Birds in 3rd place in this division. What does Shildt and Mo need to do to get these boys going? Do we get Shelby Miller? Do we go for Trevor Story? Is our bullpen getting overrun? Do the boys just need to eat Carp's magical salsa on the reg? Lots of questions need to be answered the next 99 games, because here in Saint Louis...we do 2 things: toasted ravs & baseball. Maybe a tsunami needs to sweep Carlos into Single A....my god... (2:25-17:09) Johnny Shortstop transitions to Johnny Hockey faster than Bruce went to Caitlyn. What can this man not do?! The fellas delve into some brief playoff hockey talk. With a Blues tie to each remaining team - who do you want?? All there is to say is that Vegas cannot win...suffer like the rest of us for a little while. Your time will come. FUN FACT: STRIP CLUB CAPITAL OF CANADA VS STRIP CLUB CAPITAL OF AMERICA. Things are about to get real dicey. **Do the Blues go after a hometown kid in the off season???**(17:11-22:51) To wrap up the show the gents discuss the fan favorite segment: who is your favorite #32. Lots of legends on the hardwood wore this number...that's all I'll say. Then the fellas give their favorite "cool guys" in hollywood. Brother Pitt will always be in that Mt. Rushmore.     Good Morning, Team.  To kick off the episode the gents discuss the Blues once more and what they need to do in the offseason. Who do we not protect in the expansion draft?...hasta la vista Tarasenko. They also wrap up the hockey chatter with a little Playoff synopsis.(5:19-13:39) Why is Carp still playing? The 3 amigos hit the diamond to discuss the Cardinals free-fall and what needs to happen to right the ship. NO MORE CARP! It's tough when your 2nd baseman is your 4th best outfielder. TIME TO GET BACK TO THE CARDINAL WAY! (13:40-29:47) HALL PASS! The fellas circle the wagons about Johnny Hockey's 3 picks and then dive in their favorite #31's in sports history. And then to put the cherry on top of the episode - the guys toss out their favorite stoner movies...as SATOP always says: you roll it, we'll smoke it. (29:49-44:30) Go on and crush the day, pod cast familia and as always...it ain't easy bein' cheeesy

    DIRTY THIRTY: BEST BRING YOUR BIB

    What's good podcast fam?! Time to bless those ears of yours again with another electric show. CHEF IS BACK. While Johnny Hockey was in Chicago - Drew and Greg held down the fort because they are men of the people.  To kick off the show - the dynamic duo hit the baseball diamond to discuss the Cardinals. The cardiac Cards! What a roller coaster this year is going to be. Just be better than the Cubs boys! *BONUS WRIGLEY STORY FROM CHEF AT THE END* (2:40-17:09).  Misery loves company...Drew and Greg embrace each others feelings as they cap off the Blues season and dive into what needs to be done in the off season. Was this the last of Tarasenko in STL? Schwartz? Bozak? What will Army do to bolster this Blues lineup? We expect some BIG things. WE WANT THE CUP BACK! (17:10-31:00).  On the tail end of the show the fellas discuss the best #30's in sports history and then chime in their TOP 3 "HALL PASSES"  Enjoy! And as always...keep it classy Saint Louis.
