Celtic Fans are getting Restless : Bring on the Summer Signings

#celticfc #celticsoul #podcast Glasgow Journalist Michael Pringle joins More than 90 Minutes Editor, Andrew Milne for their weekly chat about all things Celtic. The Bhoys look ahead to the Celtic v Middlesborough game. 9000 visiting away fans are expected but there are questions over how many Celtic fans will turn up as frustration grows with the lack of activity in the transfer window with Flag Day and a Champions League qualifier only around the corner with some decent teams waiting. They also chat about the pre-season games in Dublin and Faro and the two players who have signed Duran and the Ox who looks like he enjoyed his summer off the pitch. Celtic CEO Michael Nicholson met along with Brian Wilson and Martin O’Neill with members of the AICSC recently at their AGM and did not cover himself in glory with his answer to why we have not signed players blaming others for his failings. The situation with Saracchi sums up those failings. Music is always up for discussion and this weeks Michael chats about his visit to Doof in the Park dance event hosted by Hannah Lang. Michael’s mate DJ & Producer David Forbes was on the bill which leads the bhoys to DJ tales from London and Ibiza where so many young DJ’s cut their teeth. The lads look back at the World Cup semi-final and preview the final from the comfort of their armchairs. Memory lane takes Michael to London for a game v Arsenal in Highbury when Police only expected a couple of thousand Celtic fans but 14,000 fans turned up for a testimonial with half of the support only getting in at half time. The Weekly Podcast with Michael & Milish

#celticfc #celticsoul #podcast Glasgow journalist Michael Pringle joins More than 90 Minutes Editor Andrew Milne for their weekly take on all things Celtic. Michael speaks on the tenth anniversary of the sad passing of his son Clinton.  Clinton was knocked down and killed by a woman who was on her phone. Clinton’s heart still beats, his organs were donated and a young girl in England lives after getting his heart.  Music and gigs is always on the agenda when the bhoys chat this week Michael was at The Proclaimers to see his mate, Garry who plays bass with the band and Andrew was at Paul Weller in Belfast and Dublin.  Music and Politics have long links and the bhoys speak about Weller, Roger Walters and Kneecap ahead of Ireland’s game against Israel in Serbia as the greater Irish football community calls for the game to be stopped. STOP THE GAME! Mark Wilson was at the Proclaimers gig and the bhoys talk about how well he is doing with Partick Thistle and how close they got to be back in the SPFL reaching the play off final but losing out to St. Mirren at the final hurdle. The bhoys chat about the lack of activity at Celtic and very little communication laying out plans for this season, the upcoming pre-season schedule and never ending bombardment of new jersey’s and merchandise from Celtic’s marketing department. Season books used to have 21 games including all SPFL games, a European game and pre-season friendly. We now only get 19 SPFL games for an increased price which is another bone of contention with the bhoys.   Michael goes back down memory lane and shares his memories of the Tony Mowbray testimonial down in Middlesborough there was trouble from early morning till after the game between both sets of fans. While Andrew celebrates Louth reaching the semi-finals of the All Ireland for the first time since 1957.  Please Subscribe to our independent Celtic Fan YouTube Channel Celtic Fanzine TV / celticfanzinetv – Hit the Alarm so you never miss an episode, Leave a Comment and Please share. Dublin born Pico came through the youth clubs in Dublin before joining Bohs before making his move across the city to arch rivals Rovers.  Hibs were in town this week to play Rovers. The Dublin club sit top of the League and play Sligo Rovers away on Friday, followed by the big World Cup game for Cape Verde v Argentina.  Jason will be back on the road when he travels on the club charter to Malta for their Champions League game v Floriana next Tuesday.  The bhoys also chat about the state of play at Celtic last season and in particular the excitement of the last week of the season. Martin O’Neill: A Safe Pair of Hands / The World Cup - The Good, the Bad & the Fans

#celticfc #celticsoul #podcast Glasgow Journalist Michael Pringle joins More than 90 Minutes Editor Andrew Milne for their weekly take on all things Celtic including Martin O’ Neill getting the managers job and the lack of activity or news coming out from Celtic Park apart from an interview with Brian Wilson on Celtic TV.  The Bhoys return from a wee break after Andrew enjoyed the sunshine of Spain at the Celtic Supporters Festival and Michael had a wet one at the Damned gig in Glasgow. During that time Celtic announced their pre-season schedule which like last year takes them to Ireland and Portugal before they take on AC Milan at Celtic Park. Michael gives his opinion on pre-season games and ticket prices.  They discuss the good the bad and the ugly of the current World Cup including Scotland and Dubliner Pico Lopes anchoring the Cape Verde defence in the 0-0 draw with Spain. Ireland may not have made the World Cup, but The Shamrock Rovers captain is representing the League of Ireland. They also share their World Cup memories. Andrew interviewed Neil Lennon last weekend and the bhoys chat about his contribution to Celtic. The highs 21 major honours as a player and a manager and the low of losing out on the 10IAR.  Please Subscribe to our independent Celtic Fan YouTube Channel Celtic Fanzine TV / celticfanzinetv – Hit the Alarm so you never miss an episode, Leave a Comment and Please share. Let them Eat Cake / 10 days on from the Double

#celticfc #celticsoul #podcast Glasgow Journalist Michael Pringle joins More than 90 Minutes Editor Andrew Milne for a Summer catch up on all things Celtic. 10 Days on from the Cup Final the bhoys are back to talking about the current state of play at Celtic. Celtic do not have a manager in place, a permanent chairman or woman, a head of recruitment , Michael Nicholson is still the CEO and Dermot Desmond has held talks with O’Neill and Robbie Keane. Celtic fans are not Keane on Robbie that’s for sure. Seems to be business as usual. The Summer rebuild seems on hold after two poor transfer windows at a time when the Celtic squad is top heavy with passengers picking up a wage. The Celtic board have wasted so much money on paying off managers and brining in some players who can’t even make the bench.   Hopefully Celtic can hold on to their best players and build on it but the bhoys have little trust in the current Celtic board especially now that two Green Brigade members who were allowed back in to Celtic Park after the Blanket ban on the group was lifted have not been allowed to renew their season books. Andrew will be in conversation with Tommy Johnson, Jackie McNamara, Simon Donnelly, Alan Thompson, Peter Grant and Joe Miller at the Celtic Supporters Festival in Rosie Maguires in Spain. The festival takes place from Thursday June 04 till Sunday June 07.  Click Link to Order Tickets https://CelticFestivalSpain2026.eventbrite.com Please Subscribe to our independent Celtic Fan YouTube Channel Celtic Fanzine TV / celticfanzinetv – Hit the Alarm so you never miss an episode, Leave a Comment and Please share. Double Celebrations / The Legacy of Lisbon 67

#celticfc #celticsoul #podcast Glasgow Journalist Michael Pringle joins More than 90 Minutes Editor Andrew Milne for their weekly catch up on all things Celtic. The bhoys are in fine form once again after celebrating Celtic’s Scottish Cup win on Saturday at Hampden Park. A 3-1 win for the Hoops was enough to secure a League and Cup double for Celtic. The bhoys are in no doubt that Martin O’Neill is the reason why Celtic were able to turn the season around after so many lows the season finished on such a high.  The Summer rebuild is up for discussion both on and off the park. Who will be the Celtic manager, what players will go and who will stay? Will the Celtic’s CEO leave? So many questions to be answered over the short summer break before we head off following the bhoys in pre-season.  The media meltdown in Scotland continues as Shankland jumps ship from Hearts to join the rangers. Celtic have ruined so many peoples summer because they were Simply the Best in the end and there was Sunshine on Leith once again. For the week that is in it the bhoys look back at the Legacy left behind by the Lisbon Lions and some of the unsung heroes of 1967. Celtic Champions / Hearts - Always the Bridesmaid

#celticfc #celticsoul #podcast Glasgow Journalist Michael Pringle joins More than 90 Minutes Editor Andrew Milne for their weekly catch up on all things Celtic. The bhoys are in fine form after celebrating Celtic’s title win on Saturday at Celtic Park on a day of pure joy. Two late goals insured that Celtic snatched the title away from Hearts. The bhoys look back at the last week following Celtic to Motherwell and the East End of Glasgow. This followed on from beating the rangers in the Glasgow Derby.  The media and social media has been in meltdown since the Motherwell game with not a mention of how Celtic came back from the death with Martin O’Neill to win the title after winning the last 7 games in the SPFL.  The Bhoys also look ahead to the Scottish Cup Final when Celtic take on Neil Lennon’s Dunfermline at Hampden.  As usual they go back in time to wrap up the Podcast which takes them back to the drama of past seasons winning the league on the last day of the season from 1979, 1986 and 1998.  Andrew will be in conversation with Tommy Johnson, Jackie McNamara, Simon Donnelly, Alan Thompson, Peter Grant and Joe Miller at the Celtic Supporters Festival in Rosie Maguires in Spain.
