Paint Your Headphones was an ambitious project to bring together up and coming actors, comedians, musicians and writers in a high fidelity format on what was very much a lofi platform. Pre facebook, pre-streaming services, the team approached comedians and bands directly to collaborate on a unique project that was unlike anything else available. Only 4 were made and released for a brief period in 2005, then hosted on myspace for many years until the account fell dormant, these shows have been mostly forgotten until now. They are presented in their original format here for the first time. Each episode averaged 25 contributors, some who's names have been lost. Were you one of them?     A showcase of new comic talent, actors, and musicians. No host. No adverts. Only sounds. Writers in this episode were Jim Salveson, Colin Lego, Rob Tofield, Russel Newlove, Will Blackwood, and Emile Nawagamuwa. Paint Your Headphones was a showcase of new comic talent, actors, and musicians, using a Podcast to gain exposure at a time before facebook when UK radio opportunities were limited. Made throughout 2005 and 2006 it was only previously available on a handful of platforms including Myspace, it has finally been given a full release. Written and produced by many, but mostly Ant McGinley, Jim Salveson, James Oxley, Matthew Bazell, Rob Tofield, Colin Leggo, Melissa Lovett, Becky Shorrocks and more. Featuring the music of amazing unsigned musicians at the time including: Kai Motta, Venkman Heist, Lucid, No Standards.
