How do you re-discover how to enjoy life and come home to yourself, when you feel like you stopped existing to yourself in childhood? My name is Max Weichert and in March 2020 I became the father of a wonderful babygirl. In this show, I share my journey, thoughts and exploration of how I re-discover my sense of aliveness, joy and adventure. My greatest teacher and inspiration: My wonderful daughter Lilly Catherine. Watching and accompanying her while she grows up, I find again what it means to live naturally and in alignment with myself.

    Ep. 4: "I Don't Know What I Want"

    "I don't know what I want". Did you ever find yourself paralyzed with an overwhelming infinity of possibilities that come from seeing that you basically could do WHATEVER you want in your life - and instead of simply choosing and walking your path you feel stuck and unable to move forward? I have. I still do in certain aspects of my life. I figured it originates from a set if beliefs that let me feel like I am separate from life, waiting for an outside "authority" to tell me what to do or give me a limited set of options to choose from. Deep down it seems that 'I don't know what I want'. But what if I simply need to learn to listen to myself again. Learn a way to find that authority INSIDE of me (my body) that knows EXACTLY what is right FOR ME. Let's explore this idea together; leading up to remembering that life is play, and adults are not much different from children (except that their mind is in the way of their own aliveness).

    Ep. 3: The Messy Human Life's Paradox of Identity & Self

    Aligning what I think, say and do is what feels like it raises my sense of aliveness and joy. Life becomes more vibing. It means to be SOMEONE in this world, because I take (or rather 'am') a stance for what is true for me. And yet, expressing myself to this degree of alignment requires courage to be seen in this truth, and it might not appeal to everyone. This is the struggle with inadequacy and not feeling 'good' or 'worthy' orthat it is not safe to be myself. And in contrast to this, and actually transcending this journey of identity (read: Who I believe myself to be) is that pure 'self' that is the always, already and permanently observing awareness that can describe everything that goes on in 'me' and that perceives 'problems' of mis-alignment. Two journeys in one life.

    Ep. 2: Intention, Importance And Following My Own Advice

    "You always win the game you are playing". Can that still be true when I feel that I don't do what I think I want? Well, yes, it can. It has all to do with my own beliefs and the awareness why I do the things I do. Whenever I outsource this 'power' and responsibility to choose and act for myself though, I give away attention, time and energy to other people - a killer for my own aliveness & alignment. The way is this: Following my own advice.

    After years of struggling with taking consistent action on what I said is important to me, I now chose to make a step up and change my way of being, in order to feel more alive, be more present with my family and re-discover joy and excitement in life.  This first episode starts my journey to re-parent myself in order to become a role model for my newly born daughter Lilly that can embody for her what it means to live with integrity, resilience, inner clarity, presence and - most of all - joy and excitement to be alive. Join me and follow along, as I learn, discover, apply the practices and insights to create a life by design and a way of being that is in alignment with my deepest core. A journey to heal past wounds from my own childhood, and a journey to transform my mind and habits.  This is my journey home into a feeling of aliveness.
