Super enjoyable

This is a great guitar based podcast, with really interesting artists as guests. Jason, and his co-interviewers ask really engaging questions. I’ve heard from a handful of players I already know and love, and have been introduced to new ones. This type of content makes me think podcasting is in a golden age-even though the rest of the world is melting down. Glad I subscribed
Great podcast for guitarists!

Just getting caught up with this podcast starting with the Matt Smith episodes. Great to hear his voice again and his insights into recording. Keep up the great work Jason and PG crew.
Good to Hear Joey on Lowell George
08/30/2020
I enjoyed hearing Joey, of whom I’ve been a fan since the first Bros. Landreth album, talk about his admiration for Lowell George. I’ve played a few Little Feat songs in bands over the years starting with Willin’ in the early 70s. One small correction: Joey seemed to saying it was difficult to play Dixie Chicken in open C even though it’s structurally the same as open A. Obviously, the position makes a difference. The signature lick is played around the 12th fret as I recall. However, open C, played two whole steps down from open E, is 1 5 1 3 5 1, while open A is 5 1 5 1 3 5. Both have a major chord on the top three strings but they’re in the perfect order in open A (or G) that fits Little Feat songs so well.
GREAT podcast

I'm a semi-pro/intermediate guitar player and always enjoyed Andy Ellis' lessons in various guitar magazines. Andy always gave you the WHY as well as the HOW in guitar instruction. His writing was engaging and his prose inviting making you WANT to play guitar. . .
