Speaking of reunions, HELLO THERE… yes, Ewan MacGregor is back after 17 years as the Jedi master who always has the high ground - yes it’s disney+’s new Star Wars show Obi Wan Kenobi And in this weeks video store corner classic film discussion section we watch Tony Scott’s 1986 original Top Gun.     37:The Northman, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Ambulance, Snake Eyes

    On this episode we dial 911 as the Bayhem hits peak 1996 with Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul Matteen II in Michael Bay’s best movie since Bad boys II - ‘Ambulance’ Following this we sit down to unsuccessfully hide our sheer, unadulterated arousal as Alexander Skaarsgard runs around ICELAND MOSTLY NAKED, exacting vengeance in the name of fate in Robert Eggars ‘The Northman’… And if that’s not enough, Phil has been going completely bonkers, talking very loudly and for no reason at all, shouting things most normal people would simply mutter… yes,  this week we watch not one, but 2 Nic Cage movies. Firstly, with the self referential, Nic Cage starring as Nic Cage in a buddy action comedy: ‘The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent’ And in this weeks video store corner classic film discussion section YOU VOTED for the house to win, as you rolled the dice and came up with Nic Cage’s ‘SNAKE EYES!’

    On this episode Phil and Miles have been inhabited by an ancient Egyptian moon god as we sat down to watch Disney+‘s latest Marvel MCU show. It’s the Oscar Isaac starring, absolutely bonkers MOON KNIGHT  And speaking of bonkers, we go multiverse mad in what is probably one of the greatest original movies we’ve had the pleasure of watching since this pod began… with the new movie from Swiss Army Man directors Daniels it’s EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE And in this weeks video store corner classic film discussion section YOU VOTED for us to be truly, truly punished for over 2 hours with the 1992 batshit crazy Pierce Brosnan and Jeff Fahey smuggling their budgies in the Stephen King adaptation THE LAWNMOWER MAN.
