Started out The Pandemic Poems began out of quarantine Spring 2020 and has evolved to the shared struggles of mental health, relationship struggles, and day to day struggles. These poems are an artistic literary expression that is expressed through a turbulent journey that I invite you to listen with open ears and a new perspective. Hopefully you can find some empathy when being put in my shoes as the poet. I’d do this podcast even if no one listens to it, but when I 👂 that ppl really actually enjoy it makes it all worth it! Let’s acknowledge how far we’ve come and learn to breathe to reset!

    Happy Leap Day everyone! What a weird week so far! It’s okay to feel uneasy since this day is only once in 4 years but be proud you made it here today. Even though it may not be where you want to be, the help is where you seek so have the courage to ask and don’t be meek. If you have to weep that’s okay it’s definitely been a week. But know tomorrow is a new day, so let it treat you better in every way.

    Acupressure mat or not, enjoy reaching a Shavasana with cross crossed legs to open up and melt into the floor. Name a few things around you in the room and take a grounding breath which each you notice before melting. You are here, you are now, you are enough.

    Season 6 is going to be a guided meditation with a variety from maybe focusing on one of our senses and how to ground ourselves, to focusing on a Bible verse and meditating on it, to acknowledging our day and releasing what we cannot control. 🙏🏻 *When I describe the synonyms with God, “pulse of the universe” is the energy that connects us all, which I believe is apart of many of God’s omnipotent power* Honor where you are at today and take the time to breathe, get comfortable, self reflect, and connect to that source energy to regulate yourself!
