A time of continued injustice and violence against African Americans.  Cooper juxtaposes the carnage many Blacks experienced with a personal example of resilience and grit demonstrated through a relative within his family lineage.  He then bridges the gap between the late 19th century to today as it relates to systemic racism within financial institutions and empowers listeners with a message of faith, hope, and liberation.
