Living in a world where everyone defines beauty and how you should dress is very stressful, how about I put on my bright colors, all black outfit and paint my hair however I want because that's what makes me happy? Happiness means a better view on things, it means confidence and kindness. If you are happy then you are able to share it with others, brighten up their days. You become kind and loving not only to others but yourself, kindness should be a lifestyle and not a once in a while thing. Let's choose kindness, support and empowering one another, we are stronger together.

It is important to take actions that help you develop personally. Work on your weaknesses, improve whatever hindrance factors that can stop you from attaining your goals. We aren't born with personal power; we build it. When you look at life this way, you won't fear mistakes and disappointments as much. Instead, you will learn to embrace them and feel empowered, empowerment is such a big part of growth in different aspects of life. I hope that this podcast helps you to say that the direction of your life depends on you and that you're ready to build whatever traits you wish to have in you.

    Don't live to impress others but yourself.

    We try our hardest to impress people that we barricade our own needs and values, forgetting that it is our own lives that we are living and when things take turn we are left alone to pity and shame ourselves when the people we were trying to impress are no where to be found. Don't get sucked into the never ending loop of impressing others that you ignore your own values, there is no success in doing what others want of you, to seek validity from others. The sooner you learn that there is no one as important as yourself the sooner you learn to live your own life for YOU.

    Let's talk about Gender Based Violence:Women and child abuse.

    This is a platform where we talk about the reality of life, things we go through and things we witness. The past few weeks have been "dark and shameful weeks" , while South Africa was fighting Covid 19 pandemic, another pandemic called femicide broke out. Stats shows that 51% of Women in South Africa had experienced violence in the hands of someone they were in a relationship with. Let's not justify it, it's painful and saddening how our sisters, mothers and grandmothers are brutally murdered for no specific reason by men who are said to be doing all they do because of their upbringing. Truth is if you're a man and you're overprotective of your little sister or daughter you know how dark it is out there, be as overprotective and loud about abuse towards women and children as you are towards your daughters and little sisters.

    Girl, you are enough and never allow anyone tell you otherwise, those who value you will close their eyes and focus not on your messy hair or body structure, they will listen to the wisdom coming out of your mouth. You deserve the best things in this life, from opportunities to happiness. Never allow anyone devalue your worth based on their failure to recognize the goddess you are.
