    Welcome to our first planning podcast series.    The planning podcast series will be hosted by Mario Wolf MRTPI, CBH Director of Planning & Strategic Engagement. We’re running a planning podcast series with key industry practitioners, landowners and developers to share some insights into the custom housing & self-build sector, its challenges and opportunities.The planning podcasts will be available on various platforms including Spotify and iTunes.   Our first podcast explores custom and self-build housing. We're delighted that Christopher Young QS, No5 Chambers, and Andy Moger MRTPI, Tetlow King Planning, were our guests.     This podcast will explore:   • Custom and Self Build Housing and the duty established through the Self-build and Custom   • Housebuilding Act 2015, as amended by the Housing and Planning Act 2016.  • Emerging custom and self-build market development opportunities. • Converting the opportunity into homes. • Government support & gaps in the legislative and policy framework.   • Opportunities coming through the proposed planning reforms.   CBH is the UK’s first national Enabler of custom housebuilding, providing an all-encompassing series of professional services to develop and sell serviced plots while supporting purchasers to design and create their new properties.   CBH are currently instructed as Enabler across several developments on behalf of private landowners and local planning authorities, including the award-winning development at Long Four Acres in South Norfolk and Lowfield Green with City of York Council.
