    Why a little hunger is Healthy

    As parents we often aim to provide every possible comfort to our child. We feel that they must get everything their heart desires, but we forget that we are overfeeding them. And then we blame them for being the third generation entrepreneurs who took the business down. Leave your children wanting more, let them have a burning desire in their belly to do and achieve more. Just like our body, only when we feel hungry does our metabolism kick in.

    Do you worry about dying?

    Life is limited, we all will die after at a certain point of time in life, some earlier than others. We can't keep worrying about death and wondering what could have been done if we had more time in life... Utilize the time you have and make the best out of it.

    I am only a version of You

    We only realize the value of our parents once we have children and they think we are wrong. Of course that happens to all of us, and as daughters we luckily connect with our mothers as soon as we get married. Of course to talk about how the men in our lives dont value us and more, but most importantly to lean on her for the support we need as women. Only mothers truly know who we are and who we need to be. My mother is definetly my pillar of strength and goodness. Keeping me on constant check, constantly motivated and forcing me to rise above a certain level each time. As children we found many ways to hurt you, with mean letters and spiteful poems and now we will spend our entire life to make sure we treasure you.

    Choose togetherness NOW

    We always have a choice for which way we will stir our relationship. With our spouse, with the person we want to spend our most beautiful moments we assume we can choose to be angry and upset. Learning to forgive their small mistakes will only let you make every minute spent together memorable. I used to love the lyrics of this song “where is the time to hate when there is so little time to love”

    Become aware of your Weakness

    We are all made up strengths and weaknessness. what according to you is more important? Being aware of your weakness is far more important than believing in your strengths. in a game of wrestling, your opponent watches out for your weakness. its the weakness that will allow him to score a point on you. being aware yourself about your shortcoming can help you to overcome it and work from a place of strength. i was sharing this with my son that when you are preparing for a debate, work more on your wekanessness than strengths. being aware of where the attack will come from allows you to prepare the defense. we loose debates in life not because we don't know our subject we loose them because we forget to work on our weakness the areas where our knowledge is weak the areas for which you can be looked over by a recruiter. While you polish your strengths stay alert and work on your weaknessness too.

    Sometimes we fail to understand whether our reactions to our the children are coming as a result of their action or as a result of our hurt ego. While parenting there are no real answers but sit back and analyse if you are judging your child’s action as a reflection on you or of their own accord.

    Infusing spirituality in children's life

    Many times we are trying too hard to teach our children our belief system and religious rituals but while doing that our children think that my parents focus is more on us instead of the ritual. Children learn best from what they see and if u want your child to inculcate certain practices in their lives or pick up the love for spirituality then you first need to focus yourself.
