    In this episode we explore the spiritual reality that human beings cannot clean themselves, this means that it is God who is in complete control. Taking away that which does not please Him and creating in us new hearts. We also address the reality of what it means to sin against God and how the person of Christ is the ultimate source of cleansing. He alone can cleanse us in His blood.     Why God Saves | Ezekiel Series Ep.2

    In this second episode of the Ezekiel series we discuss the source of God's will to save hopeless sinners. While many would immediately point to His love, mercy, and forgiveness the book of Ezekiel offers us greater clarity. While these aspects are all true God tells Israel that He is not saving them because of anything they have done to deserve it but rather because of His names sake or HIS GLORY. This session should be one that challenges our own pride and ego as we are overwhelmed by a holy God that is nothing like us.     WHY THE NAME CHANGE | Hold Steadfast Ministries

    In this episode we explain why we have decided to change the name of our youtube channel. What was formally known as Sit Down and Listen began in the year 2019 during a time of global crisis. The primary objective was to provide Biblical and philosophical content that challenged those that engaged with it. This new year has led us to making this important shift in order to provide a clear testimony for those that come across this channel. Moving forward we ask for your prayers and please share this video with others so they might be edified with the program.

    WHY DID GOD HARDEN PHARAOH'S HEART? | Marlon Acuna

    It is regarded by many as a controversial portion of the historical narrative that is found in the book of Exodus, the ruler of ancient Egypt is hardened by the sovereign creator of the universe. In this video we explore the meaning behind this expression and attempt to gain clarity by looking into the original languages, context, and theology. It is a topic that confronts us all to be on guard and not allow our own hearts to become hardened by the cares of this world.     In this video we provide a brief update on the status of the channel and personal life. Then we delve into a topic that has important relevance for the church today. The fear of man is what stagnates genuine Christian growth and true gospel proclamation. The Scriptures call us to war against these inclinations to seek the approval of others, and rather pursue the approval of the one who created us and gave His life for us. Additionally, please continue to pray for this channel especially for some upcoming projects in the year 2026. To God be the glory forever and ever Amen.

    En este episodio de Sit Down and Listen (Siéntate Y Escucha) hablaremos sobre una porción de las Escrituras que comunica verdades espirituales sobre la gloriosa encarnación de Cristo, la nueva posición del creyente ante Dios. Pasando de ser un esclavo del pecado y un mero niño siguiendo sin pensar el tráfico de la tradición humana y los rudimentos de la religión falsa a un heredero e hijo de Dios. Todo esto se resume en la verdad central de un bebé que nace en un pesebre. El Dios eterno, nacido de una madre y enviado por el Padre, para reconciliar consigo al mundo.  Que la Tierra Reciba a su Rey.

    El Mensaje Que Predicamos

    Una de las últimas cosas que el Señor ordenó fue que predicáramos él evangelio. En los cuatro evangelios el Señor nos deja la “Gran Comisión” que es que prediquemos el evangelio a todos. El evangelio se trata completamente de nuestro salvador prometido. El mensaje es de redencion y completa entrega a Dios.
