In this current worldwide pandemic, it feels like many conversations about mental health are occurring, but the issue must be on the front in every sphere of life.  Let us not be passive onlookers but let us do our part in opening up the forums to discuss this issue of mental health.

Proverbs are often short, pithy and figurative, using conventional or commonplace language. Altogether, they form an interesting genre of folklore. Nothing defines a culture as emphatically as its language, and the element of language that best encapsulates a society's values and beliefs is its proverbs. Every culture has its own wise sayings or proverbs and these form a rich aspect of the oral traditions of every culture. Often it lends itself to an exciting conversation. The proverbs presented in this episode is just a small sample of Caribbean proverbs.
