#19 Mental Health Strategies To Cope With Stress

In this episode we dive into the 3 key areas that make up our mental health. These areas of our lives are the key contributors that influence whether we feel like we’re in a good mental state or need more support. The aspects of mental health tie into stress that we encounter on a day to day basis. Some of it experienced in temporary moments. Other stress can linger and have a lasting effect on our well being. We’ll chat about coping mechanisms on how to better manage and overcome anything triggering that you’re dealing with at the moment. The book that I couldn’t think of at the time of recording is The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod. This helped me to prioritize healthy habits first thing in the morning to start me in a positive and calmer of mind for the day to come. Also, if you’re looking to exercise as a way to help manage your stress but not sure where to get started, go back to episode #18 where I help you Start a Solo Strength Training Program. Side note, you don’t always need to do it alone. Links to Christine’s free programs, info on personal training, NYC classes, and her book “Reshape Your Health” on Amazon can be found here.
