Ep. 29 - March Update

In this episode, I talk about the struggles this journey can cause. It can wear you down and drain you mentally and physically. We all struggle sometimes, and that's okay. We just need people in our lives to lean on to keep us moving during these tough times. Feel free to reach out if you're struggling. Ep. 28 - Happy New Year

Andrew catches you up on some of the things that happened between October 2021 and January 2022. Covid sucks, don't recommend. We're under $10,000 in student loans. Two loans left after January 2022 totaling $8,000 and reflecting on what 2022 could look like if everything keeps progressing the way it has been going. (That basically sums it all up, listen for some deep thoughts on what makes life awesome, and how that makes me feel). Cheers.

Ep. 27 - October Update

In today's episode, I go into what's been happening since the previous episode: with work, life, and plans moving forward. Since starting the Dave Ramsey Baby Steps in February 2020, I have eliminated $12,000 in student loans, cash flowed wedding and honeymoon expenses ($10,000-ish), and paid different insurance policies along the way ($2,000). Ep. 25 - So Now What?

In this week's episode, I recap the past month's worth of bills. I opened a line of credit from my bank, please be gentle, it'll be paid back in no time. Then, we'll get into bills coming up and what the plan is going forward. This week's Can Jam of the Week: How Do You Like Me Now?! - Toby Keith. Tell that debt, and all other doubters "How do you like me now?" when you prove them wrong. Be a friend and tell a friend, and don't be afraid to ask for help! I'm right here if you need it!

Ep. 24 - Ask Away

In this episode, I answer questions from social media as to how I got to this point: who got me started, how and why I wanted to do this, and how difficult it is once the ball gets rolling. I talk about difficulties faced when paying off debt with intensity. "Not enough" is a phrase that comes to mind. Time flies by when you're working many, many hours a week. And at the end of the day, we're all a little broken. We all have our problems. However, no matter what it is, we can overcome those challenges. Then, I tell how he spent $1,735 this week. I'll be pausing the Baby Steps until after the honeymoon, but there are still payments being made. I also discuss taking debt as an option completely off the table. It is not something I want to do. Ep. 23 - It's May

In this week's episode, I talk about how farmers trust the process in growing and tending their land. They complete tasks every day to get to the finish line that is harvest. While we want to see progress daily, the long haul debts. We need to make the long haul debts into a paper chain. With each $100 or $1000 link we cut, we get one link closer to the end of the chain. We get closer to the light at the end of the tunnel. We must have faith and trust this process. It works. The farmers always make it work. They always believe it until they see it. Then, I talk about bills I've paid and insurance due this month. Lots of money going to insurance. This week's CAN JAM of the Week: Whatever It Takes - Imagine Dragons.
