The Mad Dawg Pod will have multiple episodes per week about hot topics within Cleveland sports: Cavaliers, Indians, and Browns. We will also on occasion discuss the leagues our teams play in, namely the NBA, MLB, and NFL.

    Is It Time To Move On From Baker? Browns vs Steelers Reactions and Analysis

    In this episode, we react to the Browns' game against the Steelers which we lost 38-7. We go over a few takeaways from the game, our immediate reactions, what we need to work on, a couple of bright spots, and what we should expect in the near future from the team. We focus a lot on Baker Mayfield and whether or not it is time to move on from him and look for a new franchise quarterback. We spend a lot of this episode going in-depth on our offense as well as the defensive issues in the secondary that we have had all season long. We each make predictions for what we expect from the next few games against the Bengals, Ravens, Texans, and Eagles as well as pointing out key areas in which we want to see even more improvement.     Indians' Regular Season Review and Postseason Preview!

    In this episode, we break down the Indians' 2020 regular season performance and preview the postseason matchup against the Yankees. We start off by going over some of our predictions that we made prior to the season starting which included a dominant batting display from Franmil, a Cy Young for Shane Bieber, and a breakout season for James Karinchak. We the went through the team position by position to analyze what went right, what went wrong, and what we should expect from our Tribe in the postseason. We wrapped up the episode by talking about the 3 game series against the Yankees and how our team fairs in the playoffs as a whole. Offensively, we hone in on Tyler Naquin, Franmil Reyes, and Francisco Lindor as we talk about the continued issues our team has been having at the plate. We wrap up the episode by looking at the Clevinger trade as a whole, discussing its implications on our team this season, in the future, and on Lindor's situation with the Indians. For the Indians, we discuss Triston McKenzie's first career start where he showed his high potential as well as possible trades that we might make using Mike Clevinger for an outfielder. For the Cavs, we discuss the draft lottery, who we think will fall to us, and the possibility of a Ben Simmons trade.
