As the title says, this is not only my 5 star review of a wonderful podcast, but my formal request (let’s be real I’m just on my knees begging like a weirdo) to drop more episodes ASAP! I got caught up last August and have been re-listening while waiting for more AMPire Diaries content.
This show was such a formative part of my teenage years, and something I love hearing other people discuss, especially LaToya, Morgan, and Jill - and of course the Michael cameos. As many others have said, I could listen to an episode for 6 hours and still want more, but I know it takes a lot of work to do a podcast, so I will accept whatever amount of time is given to us.
One of the most shocking and fun things of the podcast has been hearing the hosts talk about someone named Kira, which is also my name, so I get to pretend like they know me and that we’re friends while listening to the episodes. Which I swear is less weird than it sounds - right?
Anyway, thank you all for creating such a wonderful podcast to talk about a great show and giving it the respect it deserves while also not being afraid to criticize its shortcomings. The most eye-opening one was the sidelining of Bonnie and Tyler, which I had noticed felt weird when I was younger but couldn’t place why until I was an adult and saw the racism for what it was. Bonnie and Tyler deserve rights, and maybe a little smooch?
One last thing I thought you would appreciate - a little soup and sandwich shop near me does a week special in the fall called Friday Night Bites and I think you all and the vampire diaries every time I read it.
