    Ep 104 - A Sulty Merry Christmas 2023

Welcome to another mind-altering social commentary show that helps you see things as they really are. This is episode 104. In this episode Very, absent his two sidekicks Ian and Cowboy Burt, talks about how the local news media has not only normalized and even popularized poverty to serve their goals of creating a symbiotic relationship between the "haves & have nots". This perverse, self-serving, media-generated, condition has produced a feel-good, poverty-promoting contest & holiday spectacle that is both exploitive & obscene. Enjoy responsibly. Ep 103 - Parenthood Not So Good - Lost Episode

Welcome to another mind‑altering episode designed to shake you out of your comfort zone and help you see the world as it really is. This is Episode 103 — a Lost Episode from the archives — and it takes us deep into one of Very Sulty’s most enduring themes: the way humans drift through life on mental autopilot. After decades as a commercial airline pilot, Sulty had plenty of time to observe people, and even more time to think about what he calls “humans on auto‑pilot” — the default state where awareness shuts down, and cluelessness takes the wheel. Long‑time G‑Block fans know this territory well. The show has always explored how people move through the world half‑awake, half‑aware, and often completely blind to their own impact. Sulty calls it “sleep‑waking” — a kind of mental blind‑sightedness that shapes everything from daily habits to global consequences. And one topic Sulty never seems able to escape is parenting and human overpopulation. Humans may rank fourth in total numbers behind birds, fish, and insects, but unlike those creatures, humans don’t blend with nature — they bulldoze it. With their unique abilities, humans have become what Sulty describes as counter‑natural, a species that disrupts the very system it depends on. Then comes the statistic that haunts him: From 1 billion people in 1800 to 8 billion in 2022 — an eightfold increase in just 220 years. For a species that prides itself on intelligence, Sulty argues this should give us pause… yet he often feels like he’s shouting into the void. In this episode, Very Sulty hopes to jolt listeners out of autopilot long enough to consider their place in a world that — in his view — is in free‑fall, with the ground rising fast. It’s provocative, urgent, and unmistakably Sulty.  The G‑Block Show is comfort‑comedy for the best of us. Capt. Very Sulty and friends lampoon celebrity culture, poke holes in our absurd reality, and spin everyday nonsense into rich, character‑driven humor — even when the topic hits global scale.  If you enjoy the episode, tap Like, share it with a friend, and explore more G‑Block classics. Ep 102 - Say What + Lost - Lost Episodes

This “Lost Episodes” two‑for‑one special brings back a pair of early G‑Block gems — short, sharp, and full of classic Sulty curiosity. In the first show, Very Sulty asks one of those deceptively simple questions only he would think to ask: “Why are they saying what they’re saying — and why are they saying it that way?” It’s a funny, sideways look at how people talk, what they choose to say, and the strange little motives hiding behind everyday communication. The second show flips the script with a different kind of observation: according to Sulty, becoming a “discoverer” is easy — all you have to do is get lost. It’s a humorous take on how accidents, wrong turns, and clueless wandering have led to some of the world’s most celebrated “discoveries," turning the clueless into mythical figures. It’s a quick, quirky double‑feature that captures the raw charm of the show’s early days. The G‑Block Show is comfort‑comedy for the best of us. Capt. Ep 101 - Reminiscing + Object If I

In this episode, Very Sulty, Ian, and Cowboy Burt settle into their brand‑new studio — now fully equipped to host a live audience — and reflect on how far the G‑Block Show has come since its humble beginnings. But once the celebration settles, Sulty pivots straight into one of his favorite pastimes: calling out the world’s endless supply of double standards and mixed‑up perceptions. This time, the spark comes from Kim Kardashian’s new “nipples bra,” a product that instantly sends Sulty down a rabbit hole of cultural contradictions, image‑obsession, and the strange things society chooses to normalize. And to Very Sulty, double standards are like female nipple shirts; he's not about to pass up the chance to point them out.  It’s classic G‑Block: part celebration, part cultural roast, and all delivered with the trio’s unmistakable chemistry. Ep 100 - No Problem - Lost Episode

In this episode, Very Sulty looks back on a time when customer service had a simple rhythm: the customer said “thank you,” and the employee replied with a warm, unmistakable “you’re welcome.”Somewhere along the way, that shifted — and “no problem” took over. Sulty can’t help but wonder: when did expressing gratitude become a matter of whether something was a problem or not? And why did we all just accept it without blinking? From there, he dives into a broader theme: the endless parade of little cultural changes that never should’ve become normal, yet somehow did — all because nobody stopped to question them. It’s classic Sulty: sharp, funny, and just irritated enough to make you think about the things you’ve been ignoring. Enjoy responsibly.
