    Recorded when my dad was 75 yrs old and his new wife (#4) was 21 from the Philippines. They are still together (2024) doing good! Refer to my youtube playlist called The Daily. The show is My Dad, he’s 82, she’s 27. This is her side. This also includes all the judgment she faced from her family and the community. Statements like: “Do you love him?” “You know you could’ve married somebody younger, right?” “You know you could just use him and have somebody younger on the side to fulfill your needs.” She is a beautiful, old soul with a love for books on the Omish. Glad my dad found a reason to go on!

As of this interview in 2017, Cardiel was actively involved in Break Free Customs based in Sacramento. We discuss Skateboarding as a mindset and as a way of being and being told he would never walk again and: He talks about his story and being told he would never walk again after he was hit by a trailer Determination to feel a flicker of movement (it took three months). “I had zero feeling, every day, every moment, I tried until I was physically and emotionally exhausted.   It wasn’t severed like they  said.” “What’s the rest of your life not being able to walk again?  That’s the trade-off.” “Don’t give up ever, never. If I did give up I’d be in a different place but I’d feel resentment for giving up.
