    Learning 7 Summits with Peter Boogaard- Mt Denali

    A Toxicologist, Professor, Alpinist, and a Wonderful Human Being! Introducing Peter Boogaard is rather overwhelming than complex. Peter has been climbing for 40 years, with a record of summiting seven peaks, his feat entails climbs to Matterhorn, Piz Bernina, Dom, Dufourspitze, over 30 of the 4000+ peaks, with an experience of rare yet thrilling climb to Mauna Kea, which is physically the highest mountain on Earth, with its 2/3rd portion below sea level! He does not hold an exact and detailed track of his remarkable climbs and records in the past 40 years, but believe us those are incredible (of course we do our research ). We are more than glad to have our first international guest on board for our Instagram Live Series "Learning the #SevenSummits".

    Even in your most frantic nightmare, can you imagine yourself among the dead bodies, Sheker has witnessed it for real! Sheker stands as the First Triple Amputee to climb Kilimanjaro, Elbrus, and Kosciusko, along with accomplishing cycling races, cave walk, and performing incredibly in the field of swimming, and badminton as well. People lose hope and misconstrue accidents for failure in life but rarely they rise up and pursue something extraordinary to rebuild their confidence, as in the case of Sheker. **His Achievements So Far:-* 1. Participated in 200 Kms Cycling. 2. Participated in 10 KmsRunning(65 Events)&Half Marathons(21kms). 3. Participated in Rock Climbing. 4. Participated in Devils Circuit Adventure Sports Events, 5. Participated in Olympic Duathlon in Hyderabad. 6. Completed LEH-LADHAK TO KANYAKUMARISolo Cycling (4100kms In 65 days) 7.Trek to EVEREST BASE CAMP. ( 29.05.2018 to 07.06.2018) 8. Solo trekking DAYARABUGIYAL in Uttarkashi. 9.Sucssfully summited "Mount Elbrus" which is Europe's highest peak with @bootsandcrampons (8th AUGUST 2019). 10.Sucssfully summited "MOUNT KILIMANJARO" Wich is African highest peak with @bootsandcrampons(28 AUGUST 2019). 11.Successfully summited " Mount Kosciuszko" wich is Australian highest peak @bootsandcrampons (03 march 2020). **AWARDS** 1. He has been awarded by (BharathPrathibha Puraskaram Award in 2017). 2.He has achieved a place in INDIAN BOOK OF RECORDS (2020).

    Kaamya Karthikeyan, a 12 year old who has been accomplishing deeds of tall order, literally. Kaamya started trekking in the Sahyadris from a tender age of three, with her Himalayan odyssey starting in 2015 at the age of 7. Since then, she's been on many high altitude treks like Chandrashila Peak (12000 ft), Har-ki Dun (13500 ft), Kedarkantha (13500 ft), Brighu Lake (14100 ft), Sar pass (13850 ft) and Roopkund (16400 ft). In May 2017, Kaamya trekked to the Everest Base Camp at 17600 ft when she was just 9 yrs old. In August 2017, Kaamya summitted Mt. Stok Kangri at 20187 Ft to become the youngest climber in the world to climb a peak above 20000 Ft or 6000 M. In August 2019, Kaamya summitted Mt Mentok Kangri II (6262 m / 20544 ft) to test her ability to repeatedly conquer such heights. After her experience on Stok Kangri, Kaamya embarked on the ultimate mountaineering challenge, “The Explorers Grand Slam”, to climb the highest peak in all seven continents and ski to the North and South poles. She has named her mission SAHAS – literally meaning ‘Adventure’. She is endeavouring to complete them all by 2022, to become the youngest in the world to achieve the feat at just 14 years of age. Kaamya climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa in Oct 2017, followed by Mt. Elbrus in Jun 2018 and even skiied down from its summit. In Nov 2018, Mt. Kosciuszko in Australia became the third of her 7summits. In Feb 2020, Kaamya stood undeterred and overcame multiple hurdles, administrative, physically and mental to become the Youngest girl in the world to summit Mt. Aconcagua (22837 ft), the highest peak of South America and the highest peak outside Asia. With these climbs, Kaamya hasn’t just summitted four of the 7summits, but hopes to capture the imagination of many young Indians and inspire them to pursue their dreams. She even got the attention of the Honourable Prime Minister, who lauded her efforts in his Mann ki Baat of February 20. .
