It is a personal matter that is held close to the chest. Many have been heart broken, or worse, by the the very things they held Faith in. Over the course of the last century or so, as materialism grew to be the dominant factor that it is in todays society, and as the pillars of faith crumbled under the weight of controversy and disgrace. In this episode we take a closer look at what caused the Great Disillusioning, how it has effected just about every aspect of live on this planet, for all living things, and we are going to take a look at where people are turning to, and having faith in, as we come to terms with who we have been, as a species. With High winds and Flood waters raising over 12 inches above the previous record set in 1916, Hurricane Helene completely destroyed hundreds of communities in its path. Hundreds are dead. Tens of thousands more who's lives will never be the same. Many are wondering "now what?", as they look around and see that the storm completely upended their lives and smashed their dreams. But, in times of the most horrendous catastrophes, there are those who come to be the guiding lights, and who raise up to become leaders and activists.
