Hi! First, I’m enjoying the show! I was a single mom raising my oldest, who is now 22. She’s back from college and one of the topics I’m having with her regularly is about budgeting and saving. Insert eye-roll from my 22 year old. She started her first full-time job a week ago. So convos are about saving up for a used car (mainly because I want her to understand expenses), having an emergency savings fund, investing, and paying off balances in full on your credit cards. I’m sure she’s sick of my money talk. But the topic would be interesting for your show.
Being Latina, when I was growing up, money wasn’t really talked about. My mom stashed it (away from my dad) and my dad spent it. I made several money mistakes that took me years to recoup. If I knew then what I know now...that’s how the story goes. So if you guys could maybe give finances and how you both talk about it, I’d really appreciate the topic. Continue working on the show!
