    This week's episode is dedicated to Liz's big sister, Daraya Green. Daraya passed away in 2011 from Sickle Cell Anemia, which is a blood disorder that primarily affects Black and Brown people. We discussed stats associated with the disease and how Liz's family was personally affected by it. Then, we talked about Breonna Taylor and how her killers weren't charged for her murder. We also talked about Tory Lanez releasing an album just months after he shot Megan Thee Stallion. Finally, we took a moment to celebrate Black excellence at the Emmys! Then, we talked about NeNe Leakes ending her time on the Real Housewives of Atlanta and what that could mean for the series.     Reflecting The Times

    This week's episode is dedicated to the life and career of actor Chadwick Boseman. We spoke about his many iconic roles that directly impacted the Black community like "Black Panther," "Marshall," "42:The Jackie Robinson Story," and so much more. From Megan thee Stallion admitting she was shot by Tory Lanez, to the "Breonnacon" event for Breonna Taylor, we discussed how Black women are being treated as jokes instead of victims.
