Ep 11 - Vibing and Talking About Being a Creative ft. Mya Manks

NOTE: The audio quality on this episode is a bit lower than usual due to a tech issue. Apologies for that, it'll be resolved the next time we have a guest on :) This week I'm not alone as I chat to Mya Manks, an alt musician and good friend of mine. On this episode, we chat about creating during lockdown and the mental health struggles that come with trying to creating art not only for yourself but the world too. Plus, we also just laugh about random other things. mya manks: soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/myamanks twitter: https://twitter.com/myamanks instagram: https://facebook.com/myamanks -- follow the podcast here (sometimes there's stuff happening): twitter: @toosensepodcast instagram: @toosensepodcast follow les here (there's way too much happening there): twitter: @garvageart instagram: @garvageart

Ep 10 - Shane's Massive Eagle, Costa Titch's Appropriative Approach to Music

The 'Eagle' in Shane Eagle's name finally has a meaning and it's definitely packing. Also, why is a white man rapping in vernac? Like, okay Jan van Titch. The 'C' in Costa Titch clearly stands for colonize South African vernac. follow the podcast here (sometimes there's stuff happening): twitter: @toosensepodcast instagram: @toosensepodcast follow les here (there's way too much happening there): twitter: @garvageart instagram: @garvageart

EP 8 - The Black Experience in (Private) Schools

This is probably the most important episode yet. In this episode, we discuss how schools (more so, private schools) are breeding grounds for white supremacy and how everyday black people face struggles in spaces in which they're meant to grow. We'll talk about the experience and what needs to be done to break this oppression down for good. EP 1 - Youth Engagement on Social Issues, AKA is Being Weird, Phone Sex is Hard

In the very first episode of the TOO SENSE Podcast, Les discuss how the youth are currently engaging with issues in our society and what more we can do to better ourselves in fighting these issues. In the less serious part, Les ponders why AKA is like... that. This also gets VERY NSFW as we are reviewing a lady's unfortunate phone sex experience (sorry, it gets weird) – TL;DR: Phone sex is hard *Apologies for the mic stand sounds. It wouldn't stay still for some reason :( FOLLOW THE PODCAST HERE: Twitter: @TOOSENSEPodcast Instagram: @toosensepodcast FOLLOW LES HERE: Twitter: @garvageart Instagram: @garvageart
