And why the hell are people acting like these things are the last toys on Earth? Tommy Toys knows. And this episode is an absolute BARN BURNER. Fallen, Chizzle, and Tommy go completely off the rails as Hoodcast returns to its roots: toys, collectibles, pop culture, stupid shit, questionable conversations, and enough nonsense to make you wonder how we ever got 305 episodes into this. We talk Needohs, collecting, the toy game, and a whole lot of shit that has absolutely nothing to do with toys.     San Diego Comic-Con has come and gone, and if you were expecting Jonathan Fallen and Chizzle to shower this year’s reveals with praise… think again. Episode 304 dives headfirst into the biggest SDCC ‘26 action figure announcements, and the guys aren’t pulling any punches. From underwhelming Star Wars reveals to toy lines that left collectors scratching their heads, this year’s convention gets the full Hoodcast treatment. Sure, there are a few bright spots—especially some of the WWE reveals that actually impressed them—but for the most part, it’s an all-out roast of what many collectors waited all year to see. Recent SDCC showcases included major Hasbro Star Wars reveals and a strong lineup of Mattel WWE figures, giving the crew plenty of ammunition for both praise and criticism. Jonathan Fallen and Chizzle dig into one of those viral collector posts claiming to reveal the “seven signs you’re maturing as a collector.” Is it wisdom? Is it gatekeeping? Is it complete and utter b******t? The guys break down every point, using it as a launching pad to talk about their own collecting journeys—the highs, the lows, the regrets, the grails, and where they find themselves as collectors today. It’s an old-school Hoodcast episode in all the best ways. And while CobraDad may no longer be sitting behind the microphone, he’s absolutely there in spirit.
