Prior to heading into college, Pali spent a number of years in Japan touring and doing studio recording work in Nagoya. Aside from being proficient in drums, piano, bass and guitar, Pali has won a number of Na Hoku Hanohano Awards and sat on the board of directors as President of a number of years at the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts. Pali's acoustic instrumental guitar work can be heard in ABC Television's Hawaii Affiliate, KITV's 'Island Television' segments as well as 'Island Television' jingle that he'd written and recorded. In addition, Pali has produced and / or directed multiple television projects, including Dokoga TV: Japanmania (on K5 and KHNL), KFVE Mele: Music & Mana’o Series (on K5), Pakele Live (on Spectrum), Moanalua Garden’s Hoola Hawaii (on K5), and Na Hoku Hanohano Awards.
