The College Startup

New Year New Me?

Keeping Track of Time

Keeping In Touch With Emotions

Grateful

Welcome to Podcast #38 where I reflect on my past 18 years of life and college. One of the things which my parents have taught me through actions was the lesson of being grateful for every opportunity given. Although not everything is rainbow sunshine, every opportunity is a learning experience for growth and maturity. It took me almost 18 years to figure that out and to truly understand what my parents were teaching me through actions. However, the message is something I will hold close to my heart and pay it forward to those around me because there holds value and development which many are struggling to find during times like these. It's Okay to not be Okay

During this semester, I have been extremely aware of the fact that being vulnerable is nothing to be ashamed of. Being able to address that is the first step in growing and become stronger. Especially during the pandemic, I have been extremely accepting of the struggles which I have encountered because I have been to overcome them one at a time. Anxiety In Social Media

Welcome to Podcast #36 where I dive into a recent dream about addiction to phones and social media and the negative consequences which I have seen occurred. As users of social media become younger and younger, these kids are being exposed to unrealistic expectations and idolizations shown on the internet. People usually only post the good so younger kids are more compelled to believe those to be realistic and compare themselves to others, which can have many harmful effects on their mental health especially at a time of rapid growth.
