    My Mechanic

    Just like many people,  I always struggle with who to turn to when i'm having car trouble.  I finally do not have that problem anymore. I have found My Mechanic. Locally owned by Dena and Billy Ganje. These two have gone thru the troubles and tribulations of opening a business and know what it's like first hand to be a legit auto shop. I can tell you these guys are ALWAYS busy. But why ??? they are busy because they truly care about your car and your business. When you take your car to an auto shop the first thing you get is anxiety because car repair can be VERY expensive, and you never know who is really working on your vehicle. Commonly the questions asked are: " Are they taking advantage of me?"  " Why does this cost so much?" " What's the cheapest way possible I can take care of this?"   Finding My Mechanic has stopped me from asking these questions. They take care of my vehicle and do it in such a way where you are not ripping off your arm to pay them. The honesty and amazing customer service from this company is bar non the BEST in the industry.     Salvavision

    Getting behind a cause can be very exciting. This episode we talk with my beautiful mother who is the President of a non-profit organization called Salvavision. Rough translation is her vision to help asylum seekers and migrants who are seeking safety in the United States and provide aid to those who have been sent back to El Salvador. After listening to her and my sister talk on this episode, we learn that along her journey of helping her fellow Salvadorians, she also helps all nationalities and races. The journey of coming to the United States can be a very difficult one for a lot of people and getting into the States can almost be impossible for some. My mother and her team really help people directly with this process. However parallel to their journey come the costs of living. This is where a lot of her focus and love really shows. As she is dedicated to physically bringing people clothing, products, food, water etc. anything that will improve the quality of life to people who are stuck at the Mexican American border who are waiting for their asylum case to be heard. Many people are being detained and imprisoned because of the process that has been initiated by the recent administration.   Please remember this episode is not political and is not meant to be here to pick a side of the policy. We discuss what the mission and what the cause is about. Their vision in helping humans and how this nonprofit is really trying to change the world of immigration.     Soul Fitness

    2020 has been the year of hell for most people and businesses. However I decided to stay positive and find light at the end of the tunnel. This group of people are that light, for me!! As this year progressed I needed to become healthy. I feel being healthy runs side by side with success. The healthier I become the better my business does. The better I am the better my crew is. We eat healthier, and we all have more energy and over all translates to better business. I feel my mind thinking clearer. I am able to wake up with energy and have the confidence to tackle my day. Soul Fitness has catapulted me into a well oiled machine and I'm just getting started. As of this date Aug 2020 i'm down 30 LBS. My goal is to lose 100 lbs. I deserve it and my family deserves it. But it's easier said then done. Working out, figuring out your nutrition, staying active ETC IT'S EXHAUSTING!! But, with a little help from my friends here at Soul Fitness I am able to push thru all my shadows and continue to succeed with my goals. Here we talk about how fitness IS hard. How we are able to stay on track and how these coaches really CARE about your success.  Randy and his coaches have truly dialed in the science behind group fitness. Keeping each other accountable, staying positive, and really pushing you to be your absolute best.     My Professional Sister

    Getting to be a professional in any field can be a challenge. Not really knowing what your future after school will be and trying to navigate the professional world can be hard. While we are in the middle of a pandemic it was great to hear her story and how she is able to really address issues like this in the work environment. Before working in her current position she was in analyst and was able to help us get Tailored Steel off the ground. If you have ever dealt with Google and trying to navigate that monster, it can be extremely frustrating. Anna was able to help me get started and in the end save me a lot of money. Money that would rather be blown on just touching the surface of Google ads. She taught me about doing things organically and to this day has worked beautifully. My cost of business is lower because I have that organic lead generation. So this episode was really fun to make with a sibling who helped me rise and grow. For that, I thank her.     Mike Effing Custom Remodeling

    Our guest today is  Mike Effing. He IS licensed, bonded and insured. He is such a great wealth of knowledge. He has 30 plus years of experience remodeling homes all over Tucson. He really is passionate about doing the job correctly.   Mike has been a great mentor to me, and a great friend. As we work on container projects together with another friend Earl ( architect ) we collaborate on how to make these container homes into a real product that can be taken almost anywhere.  He gives advice to people who want to get into the contracting field and gives advice on how to look for the right contractor for the job.     Savoury Eats

    Where to begin with this amazing group of people. Well we showed up to record this podcast and their smoker was smoking. We were greeted and invited in. As we walked down the hallway past the beautiful steel art , we enter their beautiful stainless steel kitchen fit for a chef and his wife. That is exactly what it was. As Chris and I approached the kitchen table we were greeted with amazing food.  I cannot describe how much my mouth was watering just by the smells alone. The anticipation of devouring this food was sky high. There was color and tequila and fruit and the list GOES ONNNNNNNNN. Truly impressed with Savoury eats. Please find them on Facebook.     This episode we sit down with a longtime awesome friend of mine Rachel Castillo. We talk shop about her, and her journey into owning her own business.  We discuss struggles she has worked thru, her experience and what she has planned for the future. She is a local photographer who has been in the field for about 17 years. With a bachelor of  arts from the U of A I have no doubt Rachel will thrive in this industry. We sat and had lunch at La Chaiteria located at 1002 W. Congress St. In Menlo park the heart and soul of the west side.  I talk about my experience as a client for Rachel and how easy it was to feel comfortable in a studio setting.  She was able to get me out of my skin and into the lens which transformed into a great image of my self. I really felt confident in my pictures because me really helped me look good. The lighting, the direction, the atmosphere, all played a great roll in capturing a great image.  This is no pop up shop or armature Instagram photographer.   She is the real deal!!!
