True strength is accepting where you are lacking. Figuring out why you think the way you do, why you move the way you do, why you talk the way you do. “We are a product of our environment.” We spend most of our adult lives seeking love and acceptance in the wrong places. We don’t realize that we are searching for what should’ve been given to us as a child. We carry hurt, after hurt, which ends up going to our kids. Now we have a generational curse and/or habit that needs to be broken. I’m a black woman born in New York. This is my story amongst many others. We are healing. Breaking curses.
