    Boo! On this Halloween-themed episode Max and Connor discuss their pure and unironic love of Hubie Halloween, Connor's experience playing Phasmophobia, and their favorite movies to watch on Halloween. They also discuss the pitfalls of the theatrical experience and their favorite childhood Halloween costumes. (Content warning: From 61:01-70:00 Max and Connor discuss real animal death on film. It's not a graphic discussion per se but we feel it's important to give everyone a heads up in regards to that particular conservation.)

    Max and Connor return! Connor justifies getting another CRT TV and Max talks about watching Satantango. Connor also tells Max about his experience watching jingoistic Superman cartoons, and they both discuss engaging with problematic cinema. Max and Connor also re-explore the failings of American history education and learning about American atrocities through popular media. Finally, Max reads a beautiful poem.

    EP 9: We All Make Mistakes Sometimes

    Max and Connor welcome special guest Aaron to the podcast! Again! This triumphant trio recorded a great episode 8, but it was unfortunately cursed and 66.6% of the audio disappeared. Whoops! That episode may be somewhat available someday, but for now: this! Max, Connor, and Aaron discuss the cult horror web series Petscop, Shakespeare, the new documentary This is Paris, and much more! Max and Connor also discuss punching ghosts, the wonderful community surrounding blaseball, getting political in elementary school, how Connor unknowingly quoted Roger Ebert, and ideas for other podcasts.     Max and Connor return to unfringe some topics from Episode One. They discuss ghosts, Stephen King, and whether robots should have skin or not. Also, a very special guest wanders into Max and Connor HQ! Connor starts talking about blaseball at 52:03 and pretty much doesn't stop until the end of the episode. If you were to stop listening there, he would understand and forgive you. P.S. This episode is called "The True Two" for reasons that will become clear in Episode Three. Stay tuned...for mystery!

    Beware: this premiere episode contains spoilers that are potentially non-spoilers for the film Memento and the television series Game of Thrones. Max and Connor DEFINITELY spoil the 1978 Invasion of the Body Snatchers and A Nightmare on Elm Street. They discuss and/or mention Noroi: The Curse, She Dies Tomorrow (available on VOD Friday August 5th [not sponsored]), Night of the Living Dead, and Shirley, but they don't come anywhere close to spoiling those movies. Max and Connor also discuss mortality, Catholicism, unlearning, America, motel life, audience behavior and expectations at the drive-in, the Windows 98 Microsoft Entertainment Pack: The Puzzle Collection, ghosts, determinism, CRT TVs, and much more. I forget a lot of it. I'd have to go back and listen to the episode again.
