    Kyle Summerall shines as an up-and-coming Mississippi author hailing from our Gulf Coast in sharing his original story "Where We Come From" on this episode of Mississippi Story.  A reading shared together on a cold December night by the Ross Barnett Reservoir,  a Mississippi voice actress and voice over artist named Jessie Clark brings the story to life as guest narrator while we explore the perils of this small town, high school graduate, and her heart wrenching journey to create a better life for herself, as well as, her undying commitment to a companion's blaze of potential.     This is Mississippi Story

    Welcome to the very first episode in our journey to uncover the splendors of the South through storytelling.  Today we'll speak with Curtis Everitt, the guest narrator for this episode and film aficionado.  Curtis is the founder of the local film production company called "Saint Studios Films." His company has made over 50 feature-length films since 2007!  We will also hear from local author, Nicolas Smith, who is currently living in Brandon, Mississippi and who wrote the stories "Hard Times" and "Homecoming," which are featured in this episode.   Why is Mama hollering? What's this curse Grandma is referring to? When a young man returns home from Vietnam, how much has changed back home?
