I love the free-spirited, sexy, boozy writings of Henry Miller, D.H Lawrence, Anais Nin, Erica Jong, and many more... but have not read them in years. Let's read them together and see if these stories still light our fires, or has time left them behind with dated gender roles and ideas? In which we begin our journey with the inimitable Henry Miller and "Quiet Days in Clichy"

And so we begin, quiet days has one of my favourite relationships in it among all of the romps and loves Miller describes. I recall the lewd tenderness with delight. BUT how will it read now? Content warning, not suitable for people who are young, have aversions to graphic descriptions of sexuality, and vulgar language..
