    You're Not God

    This episode's guest is Elizabeth McGrath, an attorney and organizational consultant in private practice. Ms. McGrath has spent her career working on behalf of individual children and youth. She is an advocate for legislative and policy changes that benefit children, youth, and their caregivers. She founded Pegasus Legal Services for Children in 2002. Ms. McGrath has taught at University of New Mexico as an adjunct professor, and currently serves as co-chair of the Supreme Court's Commission on Access to Justice. ​

    The guest this episode is Dr. Paul Miller-King, Psy. D., LPCC, who was born in Michigan, has lived all over the U.S. and in Okinawa, Japan. He is an educated white male with a Master's Degree in Counseling and a Doctoral Degree from California Institute of Integral Studies. He did original research and wrote a dissertation on Eco-Psychology. He is a pre-candidate analyst of the Lacan School of Psychoanalysis in Berkely, CA. He has worked for several years in Native American communities, and is currently opening a private practice in Albuquerque, NM. He is a single father of 2 kids, enjoys camping, reading, good coffee, weightlifting, and Jiu jitsu. ​

    Guest this episode is Dr. Mark Benn, Psy. D., LPCC, a licensed psychologist, father of seven, adjunct professor at Colorado State University, keynote speaker, diversity trainer, mediator, and consultant. Dr. Benn has spent his entire career working to help people recognize their role in understanding the nature of prejudice, oppression, and historically complex social issues. He has a reputation as a powerful speaker who is both educational and entertaining. His book "Stories from the Couch, and other Telling Tales is available on Amazon.

    Our second guest is Danielle Newman, LMHC, LPC-IT, a cisgender, bisexual, white female ally who recently graduated with her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mount Mary University in Milwaukee, WI. Her approach is person-centered psychotherapy with experience in community-activated medicine. Her current work aims to provide mental health services that address historical trauma that are culturally and socially responsive in the contexts of racial and ethnic minorities.​

    Our first guest is Brian Harden, LPCC, LMFT, a therapist from Oklahoma City, OK. He earned his MA in Marriage and Family Therapy, and his BS in Family Studies and Gerontology from Southern Nazarene University. Harden is an experienced behavioral specialist, rehabilitation specialist, group living director, and clinical therapist. He is process oriented and person-centered professional. He is a community resource, proud father of a large family, and is rooted in his faith. ​
