    Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard about this month's film--Everything Everywhere, All at once. Now Oscar Winner for picture of the year. Filled with multiversal travel, surreal elements, and great costumes, a mother-daughter relation is at the center of this story. This month, the bicons talk about Joy, our first-gen lesbian antagonist (aka Jobu Tupaki) and her complex relationship with her mother.     We're back! For our comeback episode, we're discussing the Peacock masterpiece, We Are Lady Parts. This 6 episode season introduces our main character, Amina, to a punk rock Muslim girl group she reluctantly joins in hopes of being set up with her bandmates brother. We Are Lady Parts is hilarious and heartfelt with a killer soundtrack. In this episode, we focus on queercoding, the future of the show, and the refreshing representation of Muslim women.

    Episode 023: Tokyo Godfathers

    Happy new years to the gorgeous gorgeous girls still processing 2020! If you need a feel good holiday movie, the late Satoshi Kon has yet another masterpiece. Tokyo Godfathers (2003) follows Gin, Miyuki, and Hana-- a trans woman who is determined to reunite a baby girl with her parents after being abandoned in a dumpster on Christmas Eve. 2.4 million/10 stars tbh.

    Episode 022: Feel Good

    Comedian Mae Martin stars in a semi-autobiographical limited series about queer relationships, addiction, and trauma. Mae's character starts the series in a relationship with George, someone who is just exploring that they might not be straight after all.
