    Episode Fourteen | The Power of Positivity with Host Adam Fried

    ADAM FRIED| Leads listeners on a special final episode of the season on THE POWER OF POSITIVITY, training your mindset, finding gratitude, and embracing a routine that sets you up for success.   ADAM FRIED is an actor and writer living in Los Angeles. Hailing from Dayton, Ohio, Adam has a BA in Musical Theatre from Ball State Univesity, and a graduate of the inaugural Professional Program for Acting for the Camera with UCLA. As an actor, Adam began performing with The Muse Machine in Dayton, Ohio (under the direction of Nat Horne) before obtaining his BA in Musical Theatre from Ball State University. Adam's first professional break was performing at the Barn Theatre in Augusta, Michigan (a theatre that boasts the alumni of Jennifer Gardner, Lauren Graham, and Tom Wopat). After performing regionally and on two national tours, Adam worked as an actor in New York City for several years before moving to California to work in Film and Television as both an actor and writer. In New York, he participated in workshops of numerous original works, as well as producing and starring in his own one-man show MISUNDERSTOOD: AN UNREQUITED LOVE STORY which he performed at the Laurie Beechman, Don’t Tell Mama and the Duplex Theaters. Most recently, Adam co-starred as Michael Falcon in the Upcoming Spaghetti Western VENGEANCE TURNS, as well as Hank Eisenberg in Guest House Film’s HAPPINESS ADJACENT now streaming on Amazon Prime.  He also recently shot the role of Greg in the short film THINGS THAT BIRDS SAY, Lee in the fantasy short film, CLOUD 9, Alan in LETTERS FROM AMOR, Spencer in DJI Campus Award-winning short SICK SUPERHERO, and Melvin in the upcoming feature GODS OF SUI. Upcoming, Adam will be featured in the upcoming series #MARRIEDLIFE, THE COVID CONSPIRACY, ONCE UPON A MURDER, and CITIZEN, for which he also is a co-creator and writer for the series. Adam is the creator and Head Writer of the series DIRTY LAUNDRY which is currently being pitched to networks, produced by Chrysalis Pictures of which he is the managing artistic director. Also, he produced and is a co-host of COCKTALES which is now streaming on SeekaTV Nationwide. Adam is also a co-director of the MOVING PARTS FILM FESTIVAL (Hollywood’s Online Inclusive Virtual Film Festival) now in its 4th year, as well as co-host of THE QUICK CHANGE Podcast, and a director with ROCK YOUR REEL. Adam loves collaborating with artists, supporting their vision, and has coached clients through bookings and callbacks for years.     SABRA WILLIAMS | Co-Founder of Creative Acts  Sabra Williams has received international acclaim for her work as an actor, host and co-founder of The Actors' Gang Prison Project, including being named by President Obama a, “Champion of Change” in 2016, and being honored with a British Empire Medal for services to the Arts & Prison Reform by Queen Elizabeth in 2018. Sabra is co-founder of Creative Acts, a Social Justice initiative that uses the Arts as the tool for transformation. Creative Acts has Civic Engagement programs in juvenile facilities and a new Virtual Reality Arts Reentry program in adult maximum security prisons, for people returning after life sentences. Sabra is a Visiting Lecturer at UCLA and an Adjunct Professor at USC. She is a Bellagio Rockefeller Resident Fellow and an in-demand speaker on justice and Arts issues.     MONICA QUINN | Leads listeners in a Mental Health Check-in where she recommends 7 things you can be doing right now for better mental health in this unprecedented time.   Monica Quinn is the founder of Chrysalis Pictures and Director of the Moving Parts Film Festival in Los Angeles. She is a charismatic and upbeat stage and screen actress. As a SAG-AFTRA/ AEA performer, some of her clients include Sony PlayStation, Fox Entertainment, Beats by Dre, Boost Mobile, Vital Farms, San Diego Rep, and the Virginia Stage Company. Some of her Film/TV credits are The Wild, The Child, and The Miracle (Cannes Film Festival), Magic '85 (AFI), My Brother Wes (New York Film Academy), Three and a Half Thoughts (Winner Harlem Film Festival), SYNC (Winner iPhone Film Fest, Olleh International, Oxford iFest). Monica has also appeared in Dirty Laundry (pilot), In the Ring (Pilot), and 30 is Still 30 as a recurring guest star. As a former member of The Actors Gang Theatre Company, she performed under the direction of acclaimed Academy award-winning actor Tim Robbins. She appeared in the world tour of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" directed by Tim Robbins, the national tour of "The Exonerated" directed by Cynthia Ettinger (The Silence of the Lambs, (HBO) Carnival, and Deadwood (HBO). Monica has and continues to perform regionally in professional theaters across the nation. She has toured internationally with Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and theater festivals in China, France, Spain, Romania, Brazil, and Italy. Monica has been a teaching artist for the past seven years and has worked with several populations including Juvenile Youth, and California State Inmates through various Nonprofit Organizations based in Los Angeles.
