Tim Timmons: Author, Singer, Songwriter & Worship Leader

At just 25 years old, Tim Timmons was newly married, serving as a worship leader, and preparing for a church move when his life suddenly changed. His doctor delivered devastating news: an incurable cancer diagnosis — and approximately five years to live. Now what?Treatments. Procedures. Pain. Community. Faith. And somewhere along that journey, Tim had a thought that would become part of his mission:If the average person spends about 80 minutes in worship at church on Sunday, what are we doing with the other 10,000 minutes of the week? That’s a question worth pondering.Along with his wife, Hilary, Tim is the author of "Waking Up Again: A Journey of Grief and Gratitude". His story isn’t simply about cancer. It’s about learning to embrace the gift of waking up each day, recognizing the presence of Jesus in seasons of sorrow, and trusting His faithfulness when the future feels fragile.Tim’s mission is simple and powerful: to help people walk with Jesus in the everyday moments of life.Tim is a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and worship leader. He’s also one of the subjects of this year’s hit movie I Can Only Imagine 2, with his role portrayed incredibly well by Milo Ventimiglia. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it — it’s AMAZING! He’s toured with Big Daddy Weave, co-wrote MercyMe MusicGrammy-nominated hit “Even If,” and is getting ready to hit the road with MercyMe and Sam Wesley beginning October 8. And yes — they’re coming to KC on November 14! We’ll talk about Tim’s story, his music, his book, faith, grief, gratitude, and what it www.timtimmonsmusic.com www.10000minutes.com

Palmer McCurry, share their stories about growing up in the KC Metro, meeting at the local YMCA and working together to become the best athletes they could become-since they couldn't afford the expense of private instruction.  Because so many talented athletes are in this same position, Luther has created the "Know Your Worth Foundation", because no kid should be turned away if they're willing to put in the work!!! www.lutherglover.com
