We discuss the energy debacle after the cold weather in Texas and why we think Merrick Garland will make a wonderful Attorney General. We’re excited to get back to museums and are amazed by the dominance of Naomi Osaka at the Australian Open, but question whether the Tokyo Olympics should take place as planned this Summer. Finally, we end on a high note with the Mars Rover, the end of “Dibs,” and a highfalutin milestone.

As the United States moves closer to a new administration that is more civil and aims to address the divides in our country, we talk about our hopes for the administration, our personal responsibility in the divide, and how to contribute to the healing. We also talk about COVID and the light at the end of the tunnel with vaccines, the holidays, exercise and sports, along with the craziness that is the NFL. We wrap on a high note talking about some positives with the Earth, which has taken a hit during this current administration, including Cher helping save the loneliest elephant in Pakistan and last gorilla in Thailand.
