A show for unapologetic members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
33- April 2021 Conference Report
In this episode Adam and Tanner walk through their favorite talks and biggest takeaways after listening to the April 2021 session of general conference.
#32- Reclaiming Easter from the pagans
In this episode Adam and Tanner walk through what their plans are to make both Easter and General Conference a more immersive, meaningful, and spiritually-fulfilling time.
They discuss family traditions, sacrifices, old holidays and new.
#31- You should have more kids
In our efforts to provide space for the legitimate exceptions to the rule, we've become a culture that has lost sight of the ideal - and that's a problem.
In this episode Adam and Tanner talk about focusing on the ideal, the blessings of having lots of children, excellence vs adequacy, and more.
#30- Falling off either side of the straight and narrow
We've been told that the wheat will be sifted from the tares and it's important to remember that the sifting doesn't only happen in one direction - there can be apostasy due to progressivism and there can be apostasy due to fundamentalism.
In this episode, Adam and Tanner discuss the recently announced changes to the Salt Lake and Manti temples, hearing the Spirit in the hyberbole of the World, cultural erasure and building, and more.
#29- Wallowing in comfort
In this week's episode, Adam lays out his understanding of agency - how it applies to parenting, how we can better utilize it ourselves, and how it helps us further understand the Lord.
He and Tanner also talk through resilience, leadership, optics, and - as always - about a dozen other little tangents.
#28 - Missionary secrets
Serving is a mission is both a commandment and a blessing, and it's also challenging, difficult, and often very miserable.
In this episode, Tanner and Adam share insights, cringe-worthy experiences, and perspectives on being in the service of the Lord full time.

Good podcast less applicable for women
A lot of the podcast can be useful for both sexes, but much of it is also less applicable for women.
A Weekly Dose Of Much Needed Fire!
It’s not often that I’m waiting each week for a new episode to drop for a podcast but I do with this show. It’s raw, real, and pushes listeners to think more deeply and live better.
As a Catholic who found this podcast from following Tanner, I jumped in not for the LDS content, but the content on masculinity. You guys are wrong 100% of the time when you speak about Catholicism, but everything else is good in regards to masculinity.
